osomatsu san is a show about the consequences of six people being lumped together as a unit which was cute when they were kids but got creepy as they got older and they grew to resent each other because of it. and yet their identities are so tied up in each other that they can't help but stick together. they're six plants in one overgrown pot and if you try to separate one of them the whole thing will die. they've grown to need each other and yet they're constantly fighting for limited resources amongst themselves and know their time for leisure is limited by their parents' lifespans. they hate each other. they work together to kill gods. they cant stand to be apart and cant stand when they're together and god i love the neuroses of it all

the thing is the show is like 90% dick jokes only 20% of which are funny. and the other 10% is the most gut wrenching tragic art youve ever seen in your life. and you just have to deal with that in a show that is just shitty the vast majority of the time. osomatsu san is the show of all time
