man for me comic output was less of a strain physically and more-so mentally-- i felt guilty for doing/drawing anything that WASN'T the comic, on top of feeling far too stressed about making pages "good enough." being able to doodle without guilt and without having to live up to anyone's expectations has been a much needed break… and i think it reminded me that the comic was made for myself and will always be for myself anyway... i'm just lucky that anybody out there enjoys gladimir's stupid adventures LOL.

i won't be turning patreon service back on because i don't like the feeling of people paying for a "product," the drawings i make have never been for anyone and i don't do this for a living. i think that will continue to help me take it easy and ease the guilt and stress, and allow me to experiment more too. if anyone loves the comic enough to want to give me a tip, ko-fi will remain available, but know that this is something free that i just do for myself out of sheer love of OCs.

tl;dr i feel like i have finally been able to give my brain a rest, feeling ready to work on the comic again in the new year.
