“Oh yeah, like what?” He leans his head against his hands, staring up at Locus curiously. “And those mean weren’t our finest if they were killed so easily.”

“Skill isn’t everything Felix.” He grumbled. “We had some of our finest men at that temple and they were decimated. And they still have the two Freelancers. We need a different plan.”

"I don't know, but I've been sitting in this spot for days. Showering and going to piss is a fucking pain in the ass." He leaned back in his seat, poking his lower lip out in a pout. He wasn't quite sure what he wanted, but all he knew was that it wasn't this.

"Seriously, we can't, like, go out and eat somewhere? Or something?" He sits back up with a frown. "I mean, all I have to do is put on loose fitting jeans, or get a fake cast and everyone will just think I have a broken leg instead of a bullet wound to the leg."

Mason only glances up from the tablet in his hands for a MOMENT, raising an eyebrow at the other before resuming his previous task. He was more than used to Felix’s non-stop TALKING by now, but the exaggeration was noteworthy. “Don’t be a baby. I doubt Sam will carry you anywhere— and if you move from that spot he’ll likely put you RIGHT BACK in it.” Mason wasn’t going to carry him either, though hauling the taller man around was certainly possible. Uncomfortable, but possible. “—Where do you want to go anyway? We’re supposed to be LAYING LOW.”

Ugh, great, he's never going to shut up about that, is he? As if Felix needed a reminder.

His face twisted a bit in discomfort before replacing it with a smirk while dismissing Locus' words with a wave of the hand. "Eh, it'll be fiiiine. We'll handle it. It's not even that bad." It's pretty bad. "They're IDIOTS, Locs. Complete idiots. We can handle this. We're smarter, stronger, faster-- literally way more skilled than all of them put together!"

Locus sighed, pressing a palm to his forehead. “If you hadn’t monologued the entire plan to the Reds and Blues we wouldn’t be in this position.” Locus rarely shouted in anger. His voice low and growled through gritted teeth.

Isaac gestured to the bandaged leg resting on a pillow and while it was meant for a joke, there's a hint of seriousness hidden in it. "I'm bored out of my mind and until I get crutches or something, I'm stuck in this chair and I hate it. I hate this chair, it's not even remotely comfortable."

He leaned back dramatically and let out an irritated whine. "Seriously, Mason, you or Sam should carry me around to do something. Anything. I don't care what anymore, but if I have to keep sitting here, I'm going to DIE. Do you hear me, Mas? DIE."
