Gee so apparently no one wants to go to Blizzcon this year (given last year’s fiasco, this isn’t surprising) and it’s super hard to get rid of this spare ticket I have. It’s a regular pass w/ Footman statue, which I paid $241 after fees for.

Anyone want it for $200? 💦 It’s still within the transfer window!

“hey let me write a fic about rastakhan and zul,” i said, as someone who has never played a horde character.

this bitch @historiica wrote the drabble this story is based on, and they allowed me to write way too many words about it. also it’s an AU but blizzard’s canon sucks.

As they walked from the city toward the beach, Zul thought about how weird it was to not have at least two guards around them. He guessed that they needed to stay in Dazar'alor. The alliance had recently attacked the city, meaning to kill King Rastakhan while the Zandalari were still weak from G'huun’s attack. By the grace of the Loa, however, Zul had been able to fight off the Old God’s whispers long enough for it to be destroyed and as such was able to protect his friend. The attack may have been unsuccessful for the Alliance but they still left damage in their wake. Zul knew the Empire would heal, though, even if it took a long time. They had survived worse than this before, and they would grow stronger.

Anyone going to blizzcon? 😁 I'll be there with my guild (we rented out an entire house!) While I'm not active in fandom anymore, it'd be great to meet some of the folks I had such a fun time with! Thinking about making some simple crawg pajamas/kigurumi for cosplay :P

Also - I happen to have a spare ticket (with footman statue option) since a guildie I was holding a ticket for isn't going anymore. So if anyone would like to purchase it at original price ($241.02 after fees), let me know!

They have some disagreement at first, but then slowly became good friends. Oh, i love that story so much. Maybe some day we will translate it into English and share that with you…

I've been away from Tumblr for so long that the idea of catching up on the fandom tag and responding to replies is really intimidating ngl 😅

But I feel like I must register my displeasure that the Ethereal Transmorpher toy doesn't have Zul or really anyone from BFA! For some reason I was under the mistaken belief that it could be used to copy any boss's appearance, so when I resubbed and tried out the toy and then looked up the known appearances list, extreme disappointment. 😭 Thought I saw Jak'razet last night and went "oh snap it's a BFA guy!! The list is wrong, maybe Zul is a possibility" but checked the list and it was actually Sul the Sandcrawler from MoP (who has the same model).

Maybe it's for the best... My guild pulls it out to make wiping on progression bosses less boring and if I started laviciously emote spamming whichever poor guildie got the Zul appearance, that would be pretty uncomfortable for everyone involved... Except me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Rastakhan giving Zul a back massage after noticing his prophet looking more irritated than usual after long hours spent scribing, the king's big hands and imposing strength bent solely to the task of gently working out all of the knots and tension in Zul's back...

Zul noticing Rastakhan moving just a mite differently after returning from a campaign and correctly surmising sore feet and a pulled muscle, and dismisses Rastakhan's assurances that "it'll heal in no time, don't bother" to knead purposeful fingers against taut muscles, bringing his smaller frame to bear with surprising strength, turning Rastakhan into a languid puddle...
