this is most likely just my imagination, but...
ata1 wooly looks extremely cute. his presence makes you feel warm like you're like awwwww!! this cute ass sheep i wanna pet him and bake him peach pie. he just looks so cute and his design is pleasing you just wanna give him the biggest hug
ata2 wooly, just his presence makes you wanna put him right into the butchers store. he just looks annoying. he doesn't just act annoying, he LOOKS annoying, he is if the word "annoying" was a sheep. he is so fucking ugly i understand amanda i would also insult that fatass every chance i get, just seeing him makes me wanna apologize with tears to amanda for not helping her kill him. everytime he comes on the screen i get the urge to punch my computer. burn it even. his presence makes me so mad, i want him obliterated.
but i don't think his design actually changed..

Unfortunately this is me when people mention how they want Wooly to secretly hate Amanda or want them to fight or something similar.. I fear I'm nothing like y'all i can stand sadness (infact give me more) but i cannot stand them getting angry at eachother (especially not Wooly). I feel like I'm the only one 🥀

One of the messages on the blabbot is "Send my condolences to Kate". It is implied that Wooly tried to save Kate. I love this theory !!
WOOLYS CONNECTED TO BLABBOT WOOLYS CONNECTED TO BLABBOT
I FUCKING LOVE MAKING THESE RANDOM ASS THEORIES
when Amanda gets mad and kicks off blabbots head, wooly is suprised when she does it, stares at the head offscreen, and starts to look sad before turning to Amanda all like “now why’d ya go and do that for”
FUCK I HAVE TO DO THIS IN 2 PARTS FUCK ITS NOT EVEN A LONG ASS THEORY

Something to consider...
I was just thinking about how we never really see Amanda and Wooly have an honest argument or conversation with each other. It isn't until the second game where they really start to communicate their thoughts and feelings on this situation (to each other). And even then it's only in small snippets.
It's true that we don't know what Wooly did or his role in this... but I still feel like we don't have enough evidence to call him a villain yet. Particularly because of the lack of communication between the two.
I think it's easy to forget Amanda and Wooly have been trapped together in this world for about 20 years! Like... think of people in real life for a second. Sure, sometimes two people can spend a lot of time together for awhile and be fine. But like... think of the amount of siblings who literally get into daily fistfights because they can't stand being in such close proximity with each other so much? Or like I feel like I could make a long list of examples where you could say: "Close proximity can brew conflict between people" like, with or without any pre-existing animosity caused by their situation and the circumstances around it. Like think about those movies where two people are trapped together on a deserted island. They can be like... best friends at the start but by the end they might be trying to kill each other.
Now don't get me wrong. Wooly did SOMETHING to make this worse. But the extent to which they don't get along might not be the full extent to how bad whatever he did was. Amanda and Wooly are really the only people they have around to talk to (because let's face it their interaction with the viewer is pretty limited.) But regardless imagine being trapped in a horribly stressful place with one person for twenty years?! And at times Wooly is definitely actively pushing her buttons. Like they are both doing things that would tick the other off... but when you take all their circumstances into mind and the way they treat each other well... you got a recipe for disaster.
Like I said, I'm not saying Wooly did nothing to deserve Amanda's anger or hatred. I'm saying saying he did nothing wrong. I'm saying that we cannot judge the severity of Wooly's actions by the level of Amanda's anger or hatred alone because several other factors that would reasonably make things way worse are at play.
"Whatever Wooly did has to be pretty bad for Amanda to want him dead so badly."
Yeah well like it or not, Wooly can be extremely... EXTREMELY annoying at times. To both us as the player and Amanda herself. As the player, we only have to put up with Wooly for a couple of hours each game MAX. Amanda had to put up with him for twenty years. That alone might be her reason who wanting him dead (though I think it's more than that). He might not have even done one BIG bad thing. This anger and hatred could be the result of multiple smaller grievances piling up over the years that went completely unaddressed.
This is where the communication bit comes in. We have yet to see Amanda and Wooly have a serious honest conversation about this whole situation. They clearly both have a lot of pent-up feelings about the whole thing that only come out when certain words or situations prompt it. (Like when you answer "horror" to Wooly's favorite story question. Or when you answer "Cry" for the what do you do when you're feeling bad for Amanda. Or literally any of the secret answers in the game for that matter.) Every so often, they will say something about each other that surprises the other person. Something that shows a clear lack of communication in the past. When Amanda says the whole line about having patience when someone bothers you over and over again. Wooly looks surprised and then a bit guilty. Which is what made he think that he might not have realized he was bothering her so much? That's only a possibility though. Point is, I think that while they might not become friends again, they might get along better if they actually COMMUNICATED with each other. They are definitely doing better with it in the second game, but in the third I really wanna see them have a full conversation or even an argument. An argument would be super interesting. Because I feel like both of them don't know the full story about each other. Maybe one of them will end up revealing something the other didn't know that might change how they view them.
IDK just something to consider I have way more to talk about with these two.

I just remembered one of my oldest Amanda theories
While writing the previous post I just remembered one of my oldest Amanda theories I had way back when the first game came out. Back when I discussed these theories with friends I knew who also played the game and didn't have a social media account to ramble them off to at random people online.
And that's my theory about Amanda and Wooly's relationship.
I remembered a conversation I had with someone about our Amanda theories when they asked me: "So what do you think the deal is with Amanda and Wooly?"
I said that I didn't either of them were evil. I thought the reason they were so against each other was because neither had the full story about the other. I've actually talked about this before, but I think they both purposefully left in the dark and pitted against each other on purpose. Like maybe both of them were lead on to believe the other one was working with Hameln or had bad intentions. Wooly probably only sees that Amanda is giving harmful instructions and doing things that might scare the kids watching and he doesn't like that. Amanda is trying to escape and let people know what happened to her, and she only sees Wooly trying to stop her and continue the show. My theory was basically that in some way they both have super-skewed images of the other person and their intentions. Which causes them to get in each others way and step on the others toes.
After playing Amanda 2 I believe this more than ever. Furthermore as I mentioned in this post
I think Hameln specifically, even if only indirectly contributed to this because if Amanda and Wooly see each other as the bad guy they are being distracted from the actual villain pulling the strings. It's a redirection of their attention. The more they get in each other's way, the less work Hameln has to do to keep them under control.
I thought this is a much more interesting dynamic then simply saying one or the other is the bad guy and I still do. I can't believe I forgot this theory this was one my favorite theories last year.
And like I said, I feel like the second game only proves this more.
That's it. This is my main Amanda the Adventurer lore interpretation/prediction and I'm sticking to it. It just makes so much sense!

I’m going to be completely honest with you guys
If Wooly ends up being evil or an adult I will hate ATA FOREVER and im leaving the fandom
the thought of Wooly being evil is just so dumb for me that if they go for that idea I’m going to get pissed because is just so dumb for me idk
So yeah, I really hope the game doesn’t disappoint
Also the fact that the Devs have made a lot of adult wooly jokes and everything makes me more paranoid lol

I’m sorry, I’m gonna be honest but Amanda the adventurer fandom kinda boring. Like I hate that it just took over TikTok and then just disappeared—Like ughhhh! I barely see new content and I’m BORED! Like I barely see new fan fiction or interesting stuff that just keeps me seated! This fandom is so small and I hate it!

Exactly!! Also the ata official account, when they tweeted about the release of ata3, it also said "discover the secrets of aunt Kate" like.. What is she hiding??
Has anyone ever wondered why the fuck a hameln facility is right under KPL and why the actual fuck Kate has a whole ass secret entrance to there..?? LIKE WHAT WERE YOU DOING KATE. HOW DOES THIS WORK. How and why do you just casually have a secret entrance to the facility of a very evil company you're researching??

Nahh there's no way she's a hameln employee. Wasting 15 years of her life and most likely going insane, Joanne dying and putting Riley's life at risk, all just to pretend? Definitely not

Ok I have this stupid af thing to say:
When Wooly’s identity gets revealed, I REEEEAAALLLYYY hope for him to end up being in his early teens or at least 11-13 because I really like the idea of Rebecca/Amanda being a 5-7 year old and Wooly being a tween for some reason.
Plus, Wooly sometimes acts like an angsty teen, ESPECIALLY in the We Can Fix It tape.
Basically, I’m hoping for Wooly to be a child from Hameln who grew up around/in the cult being around 11-13 years old (bonus points if he ends up being black)
If this is stupid to you, just ignore me, I just wanted to say it

Exactly how i feel 😭 Making him an adult or evil would just be stupid. Instantly leaving the fandom and loosing all intrest if this happens, but reading now that they were made on April fools I'm happier
