This is a very short snippet/drabble from a canon divergent fanfic that I'm currently writing to be posted on Wattpad/Ao3. This is just Sevika and his wife, trying to do what's best for Zaun after Isha's death :')

Honestly don't know where I'm going to take this fanfiction yet but I've written snippets that I'm going to post so I don't lose muse for it HAHAHAHAHAHA

Vieva sat on Silco's chair, her knees hugged to her chest as she sobbed. Sevika could only watch her from her spot on the couch.  

"I didn't even get to say goodbye," Vieva mumbled as she looked up at the ceiling, "the last time I saw her, I told her to be careful, look after Jinx, and come home." 

"Vieva, don't do this—" 

"Isha was my daughter," Vieva began, "she was mine."

"We all lost her and topside still has your sister," Sevika responded, "do you think Jinx wanted what happened?!" 

"Do not raise your voice at me!" Vieva hissed, "I lost them both." 

Sevika huffed as she stood up from the couch and began to walk towards her, "Vieva, nothing makes sense to me anymore since your father died, everyone expects a leader and I couldn't be that for them." 

The white-haired female looked up at Sevika, following her gaze, "Jinx was always the best of us, even when she wasn't..."

"No matter how crazy she was," Vieva laughed, "she was still the best of us."

"Vie, I've lost almost everyone that was important to me," Sevika knelt in front of her, "I don't want to lose my wife too." 

"Sevi," Vieva looked down at her, "what else can we do?" 

"Topside is asking for our presence," Sevika began, "the Firelights are coming but I think they'd expect you to be there too." 

"Why?" Vieva scoffed, "I'm not Jinx and I sure as hell don't come close to papa." 

"But you're the only Baron left," Sevika said, "well, the only one who can and would want to do something that is." 

"The title doesn't even suit me," Vieva rolled her eyes, "the other Barons hated the idea of Silco's brat taking over his position."

"And that's the mistake they made," Sevika interjected, "they underestimated you."

Vieva turned to her wife with an amused expression on her face, "you seem really keen on going to topside."

"Only because I have a good feeling about this," Sevika chuckled, "and that rarely happens." 

Vieva sighed, "fine." 

"I'll get your father's cloak."
