Happy Pride! The IWF's tour bus trying to misuse Title IX for transphobia tried to visit Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina, where transphobes are NOT WELCOME. The only news articles I've seen thus far have been from conservative outlets, so let's try to get the word out to some trans and queer journalists too. Hopefully the trend of showing them they're unwelcome continues.

I'm begging you, pleeeaaase if you live with a physically disabled person and they tell you what would make the living space more accessible, DO NOT SAY "just ask me for help." I don't want to have to ask for your help dumping out yesterday's coffee grounds in the french press.. I want to be able to make coffee without having to ask for help every. single. fucking. day.. Like, why don't able bodied people not understand that asking for help to do every little thing fucking SUCKS?? Also, when I'm upset because my own home isn't accessible, don't get mad at me as if it's something personal towards you.. It has absolutely nothing to do with you. I'm allowed to be mad at the lack of accessibility my disability creates... Don't make it about you.

i love the strange reality of being a human person with a human brain. one time someone said something to me in a foreign language (japanese, which i do not speak) and i automatically responded in a different foreign language (spanish, which i do not speak well) and then we both said "what?" in english, an experience made more surreal by the fact that everyone around us was speaking loudly in canadian french (as this occurred in Quebec)

There is no better example of "people can't comprehend that two people can be close friends without there being anything romantic between them" than the fanbases of every band I have ever enjoyed. I'm not talking about rpf I'm talking about people who are actually convinced that the band members were/are dating and insist it's true because they're... Close. As you would be with someone you've been in a band with for a while.
