There was an almost snort at the mention of 'keeping it out of his office'. Quickly covering her mouth and nose with her hand, blushing to the tips of her pointed ears at the noise her sudden laughter produced.
"I'm sorry...I shouldnt laugh." She apologized, clearly embarrassed. "It is special here....and one of the only places I've felt truly safe. They obviously feel safe around you to bother you in your office so much" She tried to supply without any more giggles, though that was proving rather difficult.
THAT DOES EARN HER A SMILE. Ja'far would have liked to see that, Sham Lash's agents were so used to being the venomous ones and there was a certain level of arrogance that came with being the deadliest creature in the room. One doesn't need to be unkillable, you just need to kill everyone else first, and when you are capable of doing that, you begin to feel immortal.
"That's right. Maader lost her fortune, land and the children under her... ownership. The disgrace drove her from Reim. And Sham Lash's leader and most of their agents were killed several years ago. If there were any that escaped, they have managed to evade my notice," it should come as a relief to him, having been apart of each group's downfall, but the sacrifices made along the way soured any sense of victory. There will always be more evil in the world, he knows that, but at the very least, two organizations were wiped off the map.
He listened to her speech, expression soft and quiet. "That's a very wise outlook to have. And you are correct, it is often better to have someone willing to stand by their beliefs than one who can easily change their heart to suit another's purpose," he affirmed. "Sindria was created by people from across the globe, from all walks of life, from nobility to slavery. It's this combination of identities, united by their desire for peace and stability, that has forged this country. I find that to be.. rather special," he looks out over the city once more. "But perhaps I am just biased. At the very least, there is hardly a dull moment. Though some people could certainly stand to be a bit quieter, I suppose even I can appreciate the vibrancy their chaos brings. As long as they keep it out of my office."

"Mmmmm nah not worried" The shifter almost purred---definitely would have if she was capable of purring. "Just wanted attention"
One eye opened to look at the paper with a small 'hm?' noise in the back of her throat. Gaze scanning the words and mulling them over before she spoke again.
"I like the second one purely from a word flow standpoint."

Her time under Maader hadnt been much better...but she'd also endured worse than the woman. It had been a while since she'd had anything more than passing thoughts about those surrounding her first trader.
"They changed their minds after I almost took a chunk out of one of their hands" She shrugged with a slightly sheepish smile, seemingly trying to get a smile out of him about it in return. Thinking too seriously about it wouldnt do any good after all.
Jafars reveal that the organization know longer exist, brought a small 'huh' from the younger.
"They dont? They bought my venom for a while...just one kept coming but stopped then they stopped altogether. Would make sense...... heard Maaders whole operation got taken down, couple days after she sold me. Heard the sailors talking about it." The shifter hummed, looking up at the sky thoughtfully.
At one time, a long time ago, she was bitter about how things unfolded. How fate and time hadnt been on her side for freedom like it had others....but she was older now. No longer the angry child she once was.
His smile earned one from her in return, showing the gaps in her teeth where her canines should have been. "Seems he collects a lot of people who tried to kill him. Are any of us really /ideal/ company? We have scars....on our bodies and our hearts. Maybe ideal doesnt matter as much as....real? Ideal can be faked......real and raw not's much. I mean he chose me as his daily guard, without a days training t'boot. "
THAT GIVES HIM REASON TO PAUSE. So their paths were more intertwined more than he thought. Ja'far knew about her relationship with Maader, it was something he'd heard about from Sinbad. And that thought alone was enough to make his blood boil. He'd seen the devastation that woman wrought up close and personal -- the hollowed look in Sinbad's eyes when he absently rubs at his wrists, the way Masrur used to cling to him on sleepless nights. Not to mention the children that came into their care following Sinbad's release. But to think, though Aya has suffered greatly, she was nearly drawn into Sham Lash's web. The wires he wore were a unique design, specific to Sham Lash. And many of their members were trafficked in as children. It was easier to teach a child to kill before they learned it was wrong. And sometimes, they were merely for target practice.
"I am glad you did not end up with them," he says quietly. "Though the group does not exist any longer."
His mood shifts when she laughs, however soft, and he smiles. "That is true, though I'm hardly the only General who has tried to defeat him," Sinbad has an awful penchant for collecting his would be murderers. "I tried several times to kill him, even following him into a dungeon. But he always slipped through my grasp. I managed to get him once but even that wasn't enough. He was truly a stain on my record," even now, on the rare occasion that they spar, Sinbad always remains just out of reach. "But, even though I was not an... ideal choice for a companion, he still reached out to me and gave me and my comrades a place at his side. I still think he's a fool for it but I owe him a great debt. If nothing else, he has certainly amassed the most unusual group of people"

She didnt cover his mouth again, merely resting her arm back over his shoulder as she watched the fireflies. "I've never seen gold ones before....they sound pretty"
His teasing made her blush and sputter a bit. "Well...ahm....it didnt /hurt/." The younger yokai's ears flattened, sticking straight out from her head. "But that wasnt the whole reason. You were sweet after all. Plus I wasnt just gonna leave you to those humans----"
Aya shifted experimentally to see if she could get her legs under her to move---she could but it made a visible shiver go up her body.
"Cause ya dont gotta that's why" She turned her head to stick her tongue out at him but didnt wanna admit it was embarrassing. Her ears were twitching and still rather pink.
Shifting her gaze back to the fireflies, watching them bob and flitter among the trees. "The fireflies here are really pretty" The younger yokai mumbled, blushing again at his comment.
"What can I say? I like men bigger than me---Uwabami men are smaller than us. They were always....ok but never really did it for me"

"Doesn't really, cant really not be alright with the only thing y've ever known. Just a passin' curiosity" She snickered with a slight crinkle of her nose. Was that a tease? It very possibly was.
The young chimera certainly had much more life to her than she had when Greed first took her in; wide-eyed, uncertain and afraid.

"If I could live life as alive as Greed, I'd be livin' really good!" Aya laughed, not worrying about keeping her mouth closed enough to hide her fangs.
Dol nodded, thinking silently.
"Ya know... m' not sure if that matters. Th' way y' are right now is alright." He smiled, trying to keep his tone light, afraid to hit a nerve.
"Besides, th' boss ain't human an' never will be. 'n he's the wildest an' most alive out of all of us. 's about what you do, an' what's inside ya that counts."

"Sssshhhhh" There was a shush mixed with an embarrassed hiss, holding one hand up to try (but not really) to cover his mouth. "You dont....gotta say it like that. I can feel em....just might not be able to use em."
Her voice was indeed a bit hoarse but after breathing for a couple minutes was able to get her senses back enough to speak, though it was quiet and mumbled against his previously bitten shoulder.
Watching over her arms losely draped around his neck, she could see fireflys flitting and blinking between the trees. Had she not just been fucked stupid one could almost call it a weak atmosphere of romance in the spring, no light except for the moon and the fireflies.
"Heh....didnt completely lose my voice"
Was she being a lil snarky? Yes. Yes she was. Bold for having trembling legs and tear tracks down her cheeks; tears shed from the overwhelming pleasure. Aya was simply trying to get her wits back about her, experimenting with how much she could feel/move her ankles and feet by doing small circles with them. Not attempting to move her legs yet

general unwell starters
"You just passed out."
"Are you okay? I'm worried about you."
"You're really shaking."
"Why are you so cold?"
"Why are you so hot?"
"You're not breathing right."
"Is your chest okay? You keep grabbing it."
"Wait, are you crying?"
"I can't hold your weight by myself -"
"You just went white as a sheet."
"You haven't eaten, have you?"
"You're too light."
"Something's wrong."
"You need help."
"Let me help you?"
"Okay, your heart beat is really weak."
"We need to take you to the hospital."
"I think this bone might be broken."
"There's a lot of blood."
"I think your nose is bleeding."
"Oh, that's not meant to bend like that."
"I heard a crack."
"Hold onto me. Don't close your eyes."
"I'm begging you to stay awake!"
"Your eyes aren't meant to look like that."
"You need to sit down."
"We're going to get you out of here."
"Nice, slow breaths, okay?"
"You're going to get better."
"I need to get you help. I need to help you."

She sat, listened and just...absorbed what the older chimera said. Nodding occasionally. Looking up rather than directly at him.
"That's ok, ya dont gotta know how. I was just curious cause I dont think I ever was? Dont remember ever being human at least--only know....this"
She wasnt seeking any specific answer or revelation from the question, it was pure curiosity.

Aya was simply trying to get her wits back about her, experimenting with how much she could feel/move her ankles and feet by doing small circles with them. Not attempting to move her legs yet
Aya's ears flattened again when he commented on how pink she'd turned and his teasing made the blush even more vibrant. Though she noticed how the grip of her claws made him shiver, shifting her touch from his shoulders to his sides to scratch him.
"A-Aya, call me Aya. " Her words hitched up in pitch, being pushed down on his lap making her squeak. There wasnt any more of him to take, so it just added to the dizzying pressure.
"I will!" Though it was hard to sound convincing with her voice cracking and how red her ears were.
-------------------------
Her mental determination and her body's will however were very different things.
By the time the noise of vigorously sloshing water, moans and cries had died; she was a mess. The Uwabami looked practically mauled, skin not covered with scales marked in a variety of ways--though not to say she didnt get marks of her own in on him with both teeth and claws. Her legs were visibly shaking, laying against his chest and breathing heavily.
Her pupils were still blown wide, looking a touch dazed as her gaze shifted to the sky, trying to gauge how much time had passed. She couldnt see the sun anymore through the immediate trees so it had been some time. At the moment unable to push herself up with her legs to look further, though honestly she was content leaning all her weight on him as she attempted to regain the ability to form coherent words.
Even letting herself completely lean on him her legs wouldnt stop shaking---that was out of her control at this point.

As she released the bite he'd likely chuckle teasingly after she gasped and yelped. The feeling of her claws digging into his skin made him shiver briefly. Mostly because it felt good, he liked how it felt to be scratched by nails, or claws. Perhaps she'd bitten off a bit more than she could chew but that didn't really matter now, did it?
"Look at ya turnin' all rosy pink for me,"
Oh, he was teasing her now, she was going to learn at least part of how much of a menace the Oni was, all while he was fucking her, too. If she never wanted for him to fuck her again after this that would be her choice too, he'd take whatever she said in stride. If she could speak once he was done with her, anyway.
"Only a little surprised, huh? Coulda fooled me, Ayana."
He'd press her down against his lap a bit harder to hear her vocal reaction while also watching her face for that reaction as well. HIs large hands all but swallowed her tiny waist so the fact that she could take him at all might be more of a shock than anything else. Though they were both Yokai.
"We'll see if ya have a voice once I'm done with ya still."

The thrusts forced her to release the bite with a gasping yelp, claws digging in rather than her teeth. Her cheeks and ears took on a rosy hue almost matching her scales.
The Uwabami didnt know she /could/ feel so full, but being completely seated on his lap clearly proved that. Though she was a smidge embarrassed she couldnt stop herself repeatedly tensing and relaxing around him.
"No...no you havent. I-I was just a little surprised that's all." It was a valiant attempt to keep her voice even and not shaky...and only an attempt but she did still have her voice!
"I dont plan on losing my voice either"
There was a bite given to the crook of his neck, where she was hiding her face when the startled squeak she made was called cute. Mainly in retaliation for the bite he gave her earlier.
"I....I dont..." Her words were muffled by his shoulder
There was a certain amount of pride she was (attempting) to hold onto despite her shakiness, whimpering with the slightest rock of her hips. It didnt feel quick to her! It felt torturously slow---but she now knew better than to say to go faster.
Considering the stretch and fullness, on top of the pace---even with his assistance pushing on her hips, she needed to take that time to adjust to his size. Her claws dug into and scratched his shoulders, knees squeezing his legs with small whines and moans.

The artist had practically melted onto Itto, not stirring until he spoke to her and him waking up moved her head. She turned her head with a small groan, sloooowwwly stretching out her arms as she reacquainted herself with the world of the living.

"Mmmm.....I was sleepin'." Aya yawned, her fangs swinging forward momentarily as she did prior to her settling down on his chest again. "Yer comfy....best nap Ive had--" Another yawn interrupted her. "in a while"
Her bedhead was something to be seen, sticking up every-which-way except how it was supposed to lay.
"Loki leave us?" She hadn't seen where her 'little man' had gone just yet.
He would sleep for a while more than likely, a lot longer than a nap that was for sure, but he had been rather tired when he arrived earlier in the day. He'd spent a number of hours traveling but she knew that already.
"Mm..."
The noise he made was because he was slowly beginning to wake up, the cat making biscuits on his head would hopefully get moved sooner, rather than later. He likely wouldn't move very much so the cat didn't try to play with his hair as it moved or something. As he felt a small weight on his chest, he'd open his eyes and spot Aya before chuckling softly.
"Are ya actually sleepin'?"

Despite technically having work to do down in her parlor she didnt set an alarm neither did she wake up earlier to wiggle away.
She was still sound asleep by the time he'd wake up. Though Loki had moved from behind her knees to Ittos pillow, currently making biscuits on the back of his head with very large paws.
Aya had turned completely onto her belly, half on top of her boyfriend as she slept.

"Dont gotta tell me twice....'m ready for a nap" The shifter mumbled against his shoulder, stretching out her arms and almost melting against him.
She meant to say goodnight, or sometime to that effect but she'd dozed off before she could form the words. The exhaustion catching up to her, and combined with his warmth made it all too easy to fall asleep.
