Les Miserables (2012)

Synopsis:  After 19 years as a prisoner, Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) is freed by Javert (Russell Crowe), the officer in charge of the prison workforce. Valjean promptly breaks parole but later uses money from stolen silver to reinvent himself as a mayor and factory owner. Javert vows to bring Valjean back to prison. Eight years later, Valjean becomes the guardian of a child named Cosette after her mother's (Anne Hathaway) death, but Javert's relentless pursuit means that peace will be a long time coming.

Review: The movie Les Miserables is a very emotional movie. It gave me goosebumps on hearing the actors & actresses sing their lines. What made this movie unique is that they sang their  songs live they were wearing earpieces and was given a tempo so that they can sing their songs in beat.  This movie is just sad, every character experienced great pain in their lives. The main characters really gave their all. Though some of them were not born as great singers, they played their role great as if they were really the exact person on that particular situation. From the songs of the main characters, to their costumes, to the background music, and special effects, everything was top-notch. It is clearly a movie that have been made with budget and a tremendous effort.  It may not succeeded the expectations of the other people but for me it is superb and entertaining. Les Miserables is a movie you must watch.

How does life change in this new digitally empowered world?

In the recent world, technology is developing at a very fast pace and people from different fields of the world are making many additions to it. It is impossible to ignore the impact of technology on our daily lives, and nowadays we discuss its classification is into two main query types which are how technology has changed our lives and is technology good or bad? Technology has both pros and cons in our lives, it only depends on how we perceive and use technology in our daily lives.

There are so many advantages with improved technology in our daily life. With the help of mobile technology we are able to talk to our friends and relatives who are living far from us. With the help of internet, we are able to learn new things and online courses etc. We are using the all natural resources available for making our life better. With the help of social networking we are able to find our childhood friends, relatives etc. and important events in their life. With the help of information technology we are able to share information to any part of the world with in milliseconds. With the help of technology, we are able to find cures to common incurable diseases ( Measles,  Typhoid fever, Cancer etc.). 

On the other hand, there are instances which show the solution for one problem with the help of technology is giving rise to another problem. With the use of same internet children are getting addicted to online games and their physical activities and exercises are becoming considerably less. The same social networks are creating rivalry between best friends and couples are getting divorced. The same aviation technology is giving health problems for their workers and creating serious environmental threats.
