Exclusive Agreements in Real Estate
What are Exclusive Agreements? These are the agreements that are signed by a Tenant, Buyer, Landlord, or Seller and their real estate Agent or Broker to identify the terms associated with agency in real estate transactions.
Why should I sign an Exclusive Agreement? Exclusives have multiple benefits, one important benefit being protection for the Broker and Client in the real estate transaction(s). The client is protected against a harmful transaction as their Broker will proactively research and identify properties that meet their requirements, but more importantly negotiate the best terms in that client’s interest by asking the right questions of the other side, adhering to time frames, and raising flags if necessary. All efforts by the Broker are completed on the client’s behalf.
The Broker is protected against outside elements effecting the good work they are doing and gives them the authority to act on the clients behalf in these real estate transactions. These agreements allow Brokers to take care of the real estate transaction for you while you continue to complete your daily routines on all non-real estate activities.

You wouldn’t go into an a courtroom trial without a Lawyer would you? Then don’t go into a Real Estate transaction without a Broker or Agent.
