Urgent adopter (and or) foster needed for Obi! 🙌🏻🤍 Obi hasn’t had much serious interest, we really need to get some commitment for this sweet boy! 📢 Obi (prev. Oscar) is a meat trade survivor from China rescued by our friends & partners @slaughterhouse_survivors and arrived into the US in July of last year. Obi is a 4 year old husky lab mix with a heart of gold! Per his previous adopters: “Every person who meets him is amazed at his calm nature, quiet demeanor, and warm friendly eyes. He is the center of attention wherever we go and gets lots of pets!” Obi is currently an only dog and with his previous adopters busy work schedule changes and travel, he had shown signs of separation anxiety and they decided to surrender him to us. Obi would love a home with other dogs and a family atmosphere where he isn’t all by himself during the day 🙌🏻 A little bit about Obi: •He is gentle, easy going, and super calm overall •Loves all people and getting pets •Great with other dogs and cats as well •walks super well on a leash, does not pull •Enjoys walks and light hikes but Does not require a lot of exercise •Loves the beach and sand Obi is in great health, has all his vaccines, is neutered, microchipped, and has no health issues— his vets absolutely love him and he truly LOVES visiting the vet; he’s not nervous around them at all! Happy gotcha day Bolt!!! 🤍 After scrolling through photos last night, I realized I had adopted Bolt on this day 4 years ago. Can’t believe he’s 10 years old.. Where has the time gone?! 😭 Those of you who might not know Bolt or our journey with animal rescue, Bolt is actually the reason we are here today and was our very first rescue! He was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter near our old home in Riverside. I went to the shelter in hopes of volunteering in my spare time, while they were explaining their procedures they had explained their euthanasia lists and the 3 pups that were on it, and Bolt was one of them. I immediately said I wanted to see them and after meeting Bolt, I couldn’t imagine letting him go and succumb to that fate. So I adopted him on the spot. I started posting the other two pups that were euthlisted and ended up getting the other 2 adopted as well! It was such a rewarding experience to help change the life of 3 pups that had a very different fate ahead of them that day, and it also showed the power of social media and how just by sharing a pups post, it can completely save their life! PLEASE HELP US FIND MIKE A FUREVER FAMILY! 📢🚨🙏🏻🐶 Mike is one of the 5 Romanian pups we are helping rehome from our friends & partners @slaughterhouse_survivors . @bam_and_bon @rebeccapoppycullum rescued them while in Romania helping transport donations, we are planning on flying them shortly in the upcoming weeks here to the USA but poor Mike has gotten 0 interest!!! I can’t believe it! 😭 Mike is a sweet, gentle 4 year old boy who is blind. He doesn’t let that hold him back in the slightest though! He gets around fabulously and loves to get plenty of attention and love from his rescuers and his amazing fosters! We are so happy for our Romanian rescues who are living the high life with their amazing foster in Belgium! We are getting so excited as their flight home is finally approaching 😍 We are also still looking for fosters/adopters for a few of them! 📢 Repost @slaughterhouse_survivors : Mike, Betty and Chip Update (Romania) 🇷🇴 Our 3 Romania pups are safely in their amazing foster home in Belgium having the time of their lives! Look at Betty and Chip playing!! They'll remain with the fantastic Hilde (Sempa's adopter) until we're able to get them safely to Atlas Animal Rescue to go to their forever homes. We want them to have 6 months of EU records before heading there, despite not being a requirement and there being no restriction between EU (inc Romania) and the USA unlike with China - Just to prevent any issues given there's so many rescues trying to pass off Ukrainian dogs as Romanian causing issues affecting genuine EU dogs right now 🤦‍♀️ With what Meryl experienced being rejected - despite having all her import permits, records, and meeting all EU export requirements as an EU dog heading to the US (she's been safe with Aimee in the Netherlands the last few months being spoilt), we don't want to risk anything. It's not fair on the pups after all. We've also got little Lilo from @dogood_romania with them, to make the most of the freedom flight when the time comes! Happiest adoption to our darling little Jill!!! 🥳🤍 Some of you may remember my posts regarding Jill and how she came into our rescue, her story is one of many that show just how disposable dogs are to some people 😔 A man with a large ranch got Jill for his kids, she was kept in a large pen outside at all hours and when she was let out she started going after the man’s chickens so he told some neighbors he was planning on shooting Jill to “get rid of her”. A woman I met a while back who knew we ran a dog rescue reached out to us immediately after hearing Jill’s story from one the man’s neighbors and frantically wanting to help get her out of there before it was too late. We of course couldn’t say no!! Jill is an absolute sweetheart that truly just wants to be loved and to be apart of a family. I couldn’t be more thankful to her lovely adopter @michadenny for giving her such an amazing life and home. 🐾 Waylon is looking for his forever home!!! 🐾 Waylon hasn’t been getting any adoption interest you guys, I’m devastated for him 😞Waylon has been overlooked for far too long now. We have had him the last two months and he’s been amazing!! He’s sweet, soulful, well behaved, an all around perfect boy. He became potty trained after only a few days, at 7 weeks old! He is so smart it really blows me away sometimes, and has such an old soul. Just happy to he here, to be involved, to be apart of a family. Sweet, gorgeous Shadow just left with his furever family and our hearts are SO FULL!!! 😭🤍 I got a message from @22nkm22 & @kirsten.foster.miller the day I posted shadow up for adoption, after receiving their application and chatting on the phone I just knew, these were Shadows people. The kindest, sweetest couple with Shadows best interest in mind always. They are so excited and ready to bring him into their pack and give him anything and everything he may need. It’s so heartwarming to hear people so willing and prepared to make things work for a pup in need, it really gives me so much hope in rescue! Thank you Kirsten and Nick for giving Shadow such a beautiful life and home, he really hit the jackpot with you guys! Puppy Pupdate 🤪 You guys!!! The litter of 6 pups we recently rescued in Fresno are all doing so well! They are so full of spunk and are just so happy to be loved on. Everyone, meet Shadow! 🐺🤍 Shadow is one of our most recent rescues, this sweet, handsome boy found himself as an owner surrender after his previous owners had a baby and felt they didn’t have the time he deserved to be given anymore. We are happy we were reached out to by a concerned family member instead of him ending up at an overcrowded shelter. The family member has been very kind and has volunteered to foster Shadow for us while we look for his forever family! 🚨URGENT! FOSTERS NEEDED🚨 You guys we were reached out to about a family that was going to dump this litter of Shepsky pups at their local shelter in Fresno 🥺 I cannot believe how many puppies have been needing rescue help lately, it’s just mind blowing what is going on?! A networker reached out to us asking for our help, apparently other rescues weren’t as inclined to help the pups based on their breeds. I started this rescue to give dogs just like my husky, a second chance at life. EVERY dog deserves a chance & we will always try and open our doors to any and all breeds that are in need. So of course, we will be there for these pups and give them that chance and the future they deserve. 💕 There are 6 pups in total, 4 girls and 2 boys. The family wants to keep the momma, and we have agreed to get her spayed for them as well. Being a foster based rescue, we URGENTLY need fosters to be able to help these pups.
