I'm gonna treat this like an ask Reddit post except for the beastars fandom if that's chill
is S2 completely incoherent or is the eng dub just really bad??? I thought S1 was great but it seems like they completely lost the plot and literally nothing makes any sense in S2
there's no haru, legoshi spends the whole season working on being strong without meat only to need to eat it for the final conflict, the final conflict ALMOST happens 4 times and then when they actually get to fighting they keep stopping and starting? wtf is going on with Louis and the lions????? moth hallucination??? magic fur regrowth??? that rattlesnake lady never comes back at all???
anyone who felt similarly, is S3 worth watching?
and anyone who likes beastars, what am I missing with S2, did it actually make sense and I'm stupid or is it widely considered as strange?
#beastars s2#beastars#beastars season 3#legoshi#when i tell you i am just. so confused#i have a literal creative writing degree but i cannot parse this season AT ALL#i wanted to like it so much because the first season was great#but i'm so let down tbh#any thoughts?#discussion

Lament for Vax’ildan
This is genuinely one of my favourite pieces I’ve ever done and I’m still not over it. I love Vax and his story so much, and I wanted to capture a bit of the eeriness of being a token of a god.
Prints here!

BBC Sherlock is the best adaption of Sherlock Holmes because it succeeded in making me despise the character of Sherlock Holmes for the rest of my life (and eternity) and made me never want to touch the stories ever again and that’s what Arthur Conan Doyle would have truly wanted.

I’m thinking about Callowmoore and about how I feel like one obstacle to them being together is how much Ashton cares about what everyone thinks of them
Hear me out!! We know Ashton is our punk rock, but literally everything they do is about going in opposition to people to be continually seen and respected as rebellious, and I think that DEFINITELY includes his relationship with Fearne
We’ve already seen it with the comment of ‘I’ve always wanted a sister’ amongst other little gestures, and I think that is entirely down to Imogen and Laudna being so not-subtle about their shipping
So yeah, now I’m imagining Fearne coming to terms with her feelings and wanting to pursue them, and Ashton honestly kind of fucking her around a little bit because they’re so self conscious, and Fearne eventually saying something like ‘stop caring about what other people think of you and just do what you want to do, I’m done until you decide what the fuck that is’
#this is definitely fuelled a little bit by the Incident of the most recent episodes#I do want ash to get over this constant going against the grain#when that’s not even what they WANT#it’s screwed them over before with FCG thinking they don’t care about anybody#hey guess what#the most punk rock thing you can do is love with reckless abandon#the sooner Ashton realises this the better!!!#to be clear this is coming from a place of love for these characters#this show#and the cast#I want that CONFLICT BABYYYYY#let Ashley flex those acting muscles some more#she’s been KILLING IT#callowmoore#critical role#also: in my heart I’m still FearneChet#but if there’s gonna be callowmoore it’s gotta be earned
