Once Mr K.M Shah (doctor of Meena Kumari ji) saw her luxurious car (she had a Mercedes Benz in her car collection) and said- "Your imported car is very beautiful", next morning the car was parked at his doorstep. Meenaji called and said to him- From now this car is yours, keep it with yourself. He was totally stunned ! He kept her car for one month and then returned it to her. He said in his interview- "Dene ke maamle me Meenaji ka haath kabhi nahi kaapa, dete hue kabhi dobara nahi socha ki kitna diya".

Hardly such people are found, what a personality she was !!

Meena Kumari ji with Sunil Dutt and Tony Randall in Filmfare awards function held in 1966 for the year 1965 ( the venue was shanmukhananda hall ). She won best actress trophy for her tremendous performance in Kaajal on the other hand Sunil Dutt bagged the best actor trophy for Khandaan. Tony Randall was one the guests and presented the trophy to both. She looks absolutely gorgeous, she hardly used to wear makeup in public events.
