For those people that love that funky talk box type thing that Michael Reed does during the shows, I submit to you it’s grandfather(or great grandfather by now the way technology is going), the sonovox, debuted  in 1940 in this Kay Kyser film, You’ll Find Out.

Also grandfather to the illegitimate child, auto-tune. Well, more like a cousin by marriage…15 times removed. We don’t like to talk about it.

Also…I just like to share my love of old movies. ^_^

Maybe someone can share the exact thing Mr. Reed is using to do said effects? Is it all in his keyboard or something attached? Hmm. Maybe this is a question for Steve?
