with spooky season approaching i would like to once again gently remind the rpc that
w*ndigo and sk*nwalkers are not generic cryptids and creatures and should not be treated as such! they are intrinsic to specific indigenous lore and should be treated with respect.
goblins and ghouls can quickly fall into antisemitic tropes so tread carefully and do your research!
a lot of stereotypical witch imagery can also fall into antisemetic tropes so once again tread carefully and do your research, ESPECIALLY if your witch character is meant to be jewish.

As a gay man who has been gaming for a long time I still have not forgiven the Bi Dorian Mods and I have not forgotton the those individuals who said he should have been Bi.
And its for that reason alone I do not want the characters to be all Bi in the next game. And Iām pretty much over people telling me āa Bi Character can be gay in my game if I use my imagination.ā Ā I want characters that I do not have to
share. If that makes me a mean person than so be it.
And yes there should be Bi Characters but as I said I want characters I donāt have to share. The writers have a right to how they see the characters. And since this is an adult game, we need to learn to accept we canāt always get everything we want.
I still donāt understand how some claim to be allies yet want everything one way. Ā
any tips on how to foster a good relationship btwn the two main characters ? im writing a fic rn but cant rlly seem to get the chemistry quite right ,,
Hmm without knowing if it's a platonic vs romantic vs familial or if it's canon/canon vs canon/insert, I can't offer super specific tips!
But I think in general any good relationship will involve two things:
Create a dynamic where there's good surface-level dialogue/rapport (examples I like include: super fun banter; shared interests or experiences; one character being really nice and the other being blown away by it, etc.) Basically give them a reason to enjoy spending time with each other on a day-to-day basis and not get bored!
Vulnerability around one another. This is where the real chemistry is, and I find that I'm always the most sold on relationships that show convincingly why Character X eventually feels comfortable opening up to Character Y.
For an extra authentic relationship you should also consider how these characters might come into conflict, what the friction looks like, and how it gets resolved! This can be normal, healthy sort of conflict (e.g. huge argument) or an unbalanced/toxic dynamic.
Something I struggled with when I was younger is that occasionally I'd start writing one pairing and then I realize the chemistry just works better with another character! Some characters just can't be forced together (sort of like real people) so you gotta change your plans haha
