“I don’t need you to throw me a bone, she scoffed, pausing a moment later as another egg started rocking around, and not a moment later, a crack formed in the shell. Claire was a bit surprized as she watched the egg. “That’s Blue. She should have a colored stripe along her side to mark her.”

“No, Claire, don’t!” Owen gasps in mock horror as she touches the egg. “Now she’ll never come out–she knows you’re here!” He falls silent, though, watching in awe that he can’t bring himself to hide at the sight of the egg rocking. He prickles slightly, leaning forward in anticipation. The egg stills and he visibly deflates, falling back to his chair.

“How long is she gonna be?” he offers a sideways glance. “Y’know, I’m starting to think that you just called me down here to get close to me. It’s okay, Claire, all you gotta do is ask and I’ll throw you a bone. Dinner, maybe?”

In case you didn’t know, I’ve been over on my Steve Rogers blog, ofameriica since I don’t have all that much to do over here. To be fair, I don’t have much to do their either, but still.

Why has this happened so quickly?? I just put up my promotion post for 400+ followers, but I figured I should do something for 500, so we have our first giveaway! Every time I post one of these, I always address just how much this blog and fandom mean to me, but because this is already gonna be a bit long, just know that. You all mean so much to me, and I’m having a great time here despite my occasional insecurities. This fandom is very supportive, and it’s just grown to be so massive – that’s so cool because this franchise means the world to me.
