#100daysOfCode
Day Two of 100daysOfCode was not as successful as day one. I was able to spend more than an hour, only to be dealing with the same problem I was when I finished up last night. I may finally know where the problem is. It is just a matter of redoing Unit 2 and truly understanding the Git & GitHub. My first mistake was [git init] in the wrong directory.....at least I think. After some guidance from fellow coders on slack, I decided to make a new fundamentals folder and move my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files into the new folder. I would then proceed to redo the [git init] (creating a hidden file that we will push to the GitHub repository) in the NEW fundamentals folder, then [git remote add origin “ ” ] and finally [git push origin master]. Which would create a repository in GitHub...I think? I am looking forward to the day (hopefully tomorrow) I can look back and laugh at what I am dealing with. Another reason that I am doing this blog. To really capture the journey of this whole thing! I think a lot of people (me including) can get caught up in what we think the our “end” goal is our “dream job” or whatever we are chasing should not cloud the actual journey and the chase of what is coming next! I am so excited about this journey and the continual learning throughout my ENTIRE career.

#100daysOfCode
Today February 27, 2018, I decided to start #100daysofcode. This March, I will be attending General Assembly for their 12-week Web-Development-Immersive Coding Bootcamp. I started this blog so I will be able to track my progress throughout the boot camp, while hopefully helping others out in the process. The past couple of weeks I have been working on General Assembly’s Pre-work which has gone over HTML, CSS, GIT & GITHUB, the command line and now JavaScript. Today I worked on .push, as well as creating a pop-up box with the alert function. I am currently stuck trying to push my code to the repository. I have somehow messed up in Unit 2 or 7 and need to go back and figure this out before moving on. I have always heard that being a programmer is mostly made up of solving problems. There is a saying that “you are learning when you are stuck” I am going to sleep on it and figure it out in the morning.
