The Silk

In the story there was an adventurer named Herve Joncour. He travelled  in Japan to have a deal with gold in exchange of the silkworms. Because Japan is known for their good quality silk. When they had the deal with  Hara Kei, Herve Joncour saw Hara Kei's wife and at first sight his attention was caught, for him she was so perfect. So as he leaves the island the last thing Herve Joncour saw was The perfect eyes of her.

This quote is in line with the story, because it's like a love at first sight when someone will enter in to your life out of nowhere.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

In the story, It portray what an autistic person observe in their everyday lives. It interprets that what we see or what we do everyday is a different thing for an autistic person. That's why we should respect them as we encounter this people because what we see in the world is a different thing for a person with autism. Most of the person who have autism is prone to bullying, because they tend to see everything as different things so many people bully them. We must respect these kind of persons because we don't know what challenge they have in mind.

This song is in line with the story I’ve read. It’s entitled “Welcome to my life” by simple plan. This portray what an autistic person look at the world full of strangers.

The Valley of Amazement by: Amy Tan

 In the story, She was born with 12 fingers, with twins on each pinkies. When she came to this world, her relatives insisted on cutting those two extra finger because most of the things used by hands are only limited to 5 fingers. And so she realize that a part of her that was “considered undesirable” can be easily be removed without her knowledge & permission. And so she began a quest to know which of her many attributes she needed protecting. Later on, her mom explained how she started as an egg in the fallopian tube and to how she got to this world.

In this poem, it relates on the story I've read because the relatives of Lulu wanted her twin pinkies to be cut. Lulu's relative tends to believe  that by cutting her twin pinkies finger she can be a better person, but she have the right to make her dreams come true and be the best version she wanted to be.

                                                 The Good Body                                                  by Eve Ensler

 In this story, women tend to believe that magazines construct a negative body image for women. Women believe that the beauty of women is in the skin, face and their body. This has resulted in women buying skin whitening creams, plastic surgery and not eating well to have a thin body and damaging your body for doing such. From the story I've read, Eve wants to have a thin body so she once said “My body will be mine when I'm thin”. She ate little at a time, she tends to see chocolate as poison and pasta as a form of self-punishment because she wants to have a thin body. A thin body for her is like the good body.

 In line with the story we all know that eating much is not good for our body but eating less could be worse. Eating less is not the solution on having sexy body or a thin body. Eating the right kind of food makes a body good and healthy.

This quote is in line with the story I've read, beauty is not what you look beautifully in the outside, beauty is what you look in the inside and knowing who you really are. Sometimes people see things differently now a days, they tend to copy what they see and forgetting who they really are inside.
