Y/N: Sorry, babe, not feeling up for it tonight. Didn’t have the best day. I’ll see you tomorrow.
A frown crossed over her face as Sarah read your text. Friday nights were deemed date night for you and Sarah. It was the one night of the week the two of you had to yourselves. Sarah wouldn’t deny that she felt disappointed that you cancelled tonight but she understood. Everybody has those days where nothing goes their way.
Sarah: Aww, love. Do you want me to come over?
A moment passes before Sarah receives your text.
Y/N: No, don’t wanna be a burden. I’ll make it up to you tomorrow, ok? Love you.
Sarah frowns knowing you would never be a burden. She flops down on her bed, staring at the ceiling for a moment. On one hand, she wanted to respect your decision and give you some of your own time, but on the other hand, she knew you better than yourself. She knew that despite saying no, you wanted nothing more than for her to be with you in that moment. Sarah gets up from her bed and peeks her head out her door.
“Wheezie,” she whispers.
Wheezie was bobbing her head to the beat of a random Beach Boys song, oblivious to Sarah’s calling.
“Wheezie!” Sarah says louder this time.
This time Wheezie hears her and pulls one of her headphones out of her ear. “What?” she asks, clearly annoyed.
Sarah gestures for Wheezie to come into her room. Wheezie pauses her music and takes her other headphone out of her ear. She stands up with a roll of her eyes and stomps her way over to Sarah’s room.
“What do you want?”
“Can you cover for me tonight?” Sarah asks Wheezie with wide eyes and a pout on her lips.
“Again? Do you know what dad’ll do if he finds out you’ve snuck out again after what happened last time?”
Last time Sarah tried to sneak out, she ended up in a cast for four weeks from a broken ankle. To say Ward and Rose weren’t pleased to find out that she had jumped from her second story window to hang out with you and the Pogues at the Boneyard, when they specifically told her not to, was an understatement. From the stunt she pulled, she was grounded for a month and had her car privileges taken away.
“I know, that’s why I’m asking you to cover for me!” she states matter of factly.
Wheezie thinks for a moment. “Fine. But you have to do my chores for a week.”
“What?” Sarah says in disbelief.
“Wait, no. Make it two. Oh! And throw in a secret invite to your next kegger at the Boneyard,” Wheezie says cocking an eyebrow.
Sarah groans. For you, she thinks. She’s doing this for you. “Alright, alright. Fine. Two weeks worth of chores and I’ll sneak you into our next kegger.”
“Yes!” Wheezie exclaims. “Now go! Don’t wanna keep Y/N waiting.”
“Y/N? How did you know I was going to see Y/N?”
“You’ll only get yourself into this much trouble for her, Sarah.” Wheezie gives her a pointed look.
Sarah feels herself blush at Wheezie’s words, for it is true. She would do just about anything for you. “Thanks, Sneezie. You’re the best,” she says ruffling Wheezie’s hair and climbing out her window.
A faint “Hey!” from Wheezie is the last thing she hears as she makes her way down and towards your house.
_____
You lay in bed with regret for telling Sarah not to come over. You could really use one of her infamous hugs and reassuring words right about now. You fiddled with the necklace Sarah gave you for your birthday as you thought of your girlfriend. It was as if God had answered your prayers because you suddenly heard a familiar tapping at your window. You lift your head up from your pillow, a little surprised from the sudden noise. You’re met with the smiling face of your girlfriend who’s mouthing “Let me in?” With a giggle, you walk over to your window and slide it open. “What are you doing here?” you say, a wide smile on your face. Just the sight of your girlfriend made your day 100x better than it had originally been.
“I’m here for our date of course!” Sarah says, climbing in and giving you a quick kiss on the cheek. “I heard that my girl had a bad day, so I’m here to make it better!” She hops onto your bed, resting against the headboard and holds her arms out towards you making grabby hand gestures.
You give in, walking over to her and laying down next to her, placing your head on her chest. You listen to the sound of her heartbeat, it’s so calming that it almost lulls you to sleep. Almost. With your eyes closed, you take a deep breath, basking in her fruity scent. You feel Sarah bring a hand to your hair, running her fingers through the tangled locks.
“So what’s got you so down, baby?” she asks, concern laced in her tone.
You sigh, not wanting to remember the events from earlier that day. “Nothing,” you grumble into the skin of her neck.
“Nothing?” she says, slightly amused. “C’mon, Tell me what’s going on.” She looks down at you with a small smile.
You look up at her, unable to resist. “I woke up in this great mood, you know? We had an awesome day out on the marsh with the Pogues yesterday and today was payday at work. And then later tonight we had our date, everything was as perfect as it could be. But then,” you let out a bitter laugh before you continue. “But then these stupid tourons at The Wreck had to ruin it. They wouldn’t leave me alone all shift long. They kept ‘accidentally’ spilling their drinks just to see me bend over to clean their mess.” You pause wrinkling your nose at the memory.
Sarah frowns, hating the way you were being treated at work. She continues rubbing a hand up and down your back. “Did you tell Mr. Carrera?” “I did. He finally ushered them out and told them to never come back. He let me go home early, but since then I just haven’t been feeling it,” you finish your story with an exhale.
“Aw, baby,” Sarah says, placing a kiss on your forehead. “I swear if I were there, I would’ve scared them away for messing with my girl!” Sarah lets out a laugh.
You smile at Sarah’s words. “Oh I’m sure of it,” you giggle. A beat of silence passes between the two of you as you lay in Sarah’s arms, relaxing in her presence. You lift your head up from her chest, placing a kiss in the junction where her neck and shoulder meet. “Thank you for being here,” you mumble into the skin of her neck.
“Always,” Sarah whispers. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”

Plot: Your parents find out that you’re gay, and you seek refuge in Audrey’s arms. Angst ensues.
Pairing: Audrey x reader
Warnings: Angst, kinda fluff, ANGST, triggers, You have been warned
This is inspired by the song Oblivion by Bastille. I whole-heartedly recommend you listen to it.
————————————————————–
As a young child, you were told what love was. Not much detail was given, yet the words man and woman were never spared from the conversation. Never. You can remember looking towards gay couples as a child, men holding hands, women looking fondly towards each other.
“What about them, Daddy?” You remember asking, your voice shrouded by your innocence, eyes wide as you searched for anything wrong with the situation. You found nothing. “Them?” Your Father would scoff, looking on them with disgust evident in his eyes. “They look happy…” You said, your small hand gripping his larger one tightly. “They’re pretending, (Y/N). Come along now.” Then you were being dragged, the image of the happy couples getting smaller and smaller until they disappeared. Forever.
Yet somehow, you found yourself in your room, tears violently streaming down your face because you were in love. You had fallen in love with a girl. The sentence itself was able to make you smile, pain ripping through your throat. You were in love with a girl and it felt fantastic.
You thought about telling your parents, but the thought itself was able to coax more tears out of your eyes, as you clawed at your throat, silently begging for it to stop. The pain was like a blackness inside of you, eating away at all of the light, the happiness, until there was nothing. Until you were numb.
You sat there, unmoving, silent. Your eyes were red and puffy, yet all of your tears seemed to be cried. Your sadness had been drained. The air seemed to thicken like blood as you merely sat there. Time appeared to slow down for you, and it seemed as if you sat there for hours. Perhaps it had only been a few minutes, a couple of seconds, but that didn’t seem to matter. Nothing seemed to matter.
There was silence.
“(Y/N)! GET DOWN HERE!” A loud, threatening voice cut through your serenity, jolting you up from the floor. The second time your father yelled, you started to run to the door, the air around you seeming to poke and prod at you, your legs like jelly.
The second you got downstairs, an aggressive noise filled the air as you suddenly found yourself on the floor, holding your cheek as a hot stinging sensation seemed to seep through your fingers. You looked back up to your father, shock paralyzing you.
It was quiet for what seemed like hours. Your father’s face was red from anger, nostrils flaring and fist clenching. Despite his angered demeanour, however, a lonely tear trickled down his cheek, painting him in a whole different light.
“The neighbours told me they saw you with… with a- a girl.” He said the last part disgustedly, as if he were looking down on the scum of the earth. In his mind, he probably was. Your mind immediately flashed back to the event he was talking about, remembering the smiles on both your’s and Audrey’s faces as you sat on your roof, laughing the night away. You kissed her that night, and you had been dating ever since. My god, were you in love.
“Dad-“ You spoke, your voice small and broken, beaten down to a nothingness. A numbness. “You are not my daughter.” Your father spoke, looking down towards you as if you were a stranger to him. “And I will not have a sick person living in my house.” He stepped forwards menacingly, causing you to squirm back, helpless. You looked towards your mother for help, but she just stood back, solemnly, not even looking at you. Was this really happening?
You were suddenly pulled off of the floor harshly, and before you knew it, you were being dragged across the house, towards the door. You began flailing in his tight grasp, which only made him squeeze harder, effectively bruising you. “Dad! Please!” You cried desperately, fingers clawing at his clenched hand. But before any other words could be spoken, you felt yourself flying, falling. You landed, hard, harshly, on the cold ground. You ignored the pain and stood up, running towards the closing door. The click of a lock echoed throughout the night.
You looked around at the darkness surrounding you, up at the blackness of the night sky, small beams of light poking through the dark curtain covering the world above you. You felt a sob rip through your throat as you realized that you were alone. Your knees gave out, and you fell to the inviting grass, as you felt yourself melt into it’s cold and bitter embrace.
Your mind raced with screams and echoes of the events before, of the words your father had used and of the smiles you had shared when you were with Audrey. Yet, at the same time, one thought stood out at you, bright and flashing and bold and there just calling out to you- You needed her. You needed Audrey.
The tears that mindlessly streamed from your large and pain-filled eyes seemed to numb your cheeks, not granting you the luxury of smiling when you thought of her name, or just merely thought of her. Granted, a frown could not find it’s way onto your face as you suddenly remembered your phone laying on your nightstand, no doubt buzzing with unseen texts from Audrey.
Nevertheless, you stood, ignoring the dull pain pounding in your chest and head, as you began to walk through the night, and through the pain. You had remembered Emma inviting you to a sleepover that she was having with Brooke and Audrey, a girl’s night. You chuckled at the thought, the mere memory of your friends bringing back some form of happiness, a sense of hope, a sliver of light in the dark corridors of your mind. Like a star.
You remember telling her that you were busy that night with homework, and you were. But, there was something telling you to stay home tonight, a small voice in your head convincing you not to go with your friends. Sometimes you wondered if the universe was out to get you.
The soft crunch of rocks and pebbles underneath your feet comforted you, reminding you that this was not a dream, not a nightmare. You were awake, you were here, and you were going to see Audrey. You started walking a little faster.
————————————————————————————
Laughter filled the room in loud bursts, each of the girls smiling as they looked towards each other, thoroughly enjoying each others company. The laughter died off and was replaced with light giggles as the effects of the earlier joke that Brooke had made slowly died off.
Each one seemed to be having fun, clad in their pyjamas and dipped in the drowsiness the late night offered. But despite the sleepy illusions and happy mask Audrey would put on, Emma could see right through it, taking notice of the sad glint in her eyes as they talked with each other.
“Hey, Audrey,” Emma spoke, causing Audrey to look towards her with curiosity as to what she would implore. “Are you alright?” She asked, squinting her eyes. Audrey was slightly taken aback by the question, smile fading momentarily. She quickly realized her mistake and plastered the happiness back on her face as she answered; “Yeah, I’m fine! Why?” Her over enthusiasm caused Brooke to furrow her eyebrows, as she quickly resolved the problem.
“You miss her, don’t you?” Brooke said, her tone much gentler than usual as she crossed her arms over her chest. Audrey’s joyful demeanour quickly disappeared as she let out an exasperated sigh. “Was I that obvious?” She asked, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration.
Brooke laughed, smirking at the flustered girl. “You two are adorable! It’s been three months now, how is it possible you’re still in the honeymoon stage?” She asked, raising an eyebrow as she smiled.
Audrey laughed as well, Brooke’s smile seeming to be quite infectious, Emma following suit. “Yeah…” Audrey trailed off biting her lip. “She’s just so-so- I don’t know how to describe her other than perfection…” She said, smiling as she thought about you, your eyes, your hair, your smile- oh god, she absolutely adored that smile.
Emma chuckled as she shared looks with Brooke. “You really love her, don’t you?” She asked, looking at Audrey intently. “Yeah.” Audrey said, looking up, staring at both of them. “Yeah, I really do.” She smiled, biting her lip again to stop herself from overwhelming with happiness at the mere thought of you. At the thought of her loving you.
She eventually gave up, smiling the biggest fucking smile she ever smiled because she loved you- She loved you and it was fucking amazing.
————————————————————————————
You stared up towards the brightly lit windows of Emma’s room, suddenly wondering if you still should knock on their door, they looked like they were enjoying themselves. How could you ruin their evening like that?
Still, you continued walking towards the door, eyes still on the window. You wanted Audrey- You needed her. The numb pain returned, closing up your throat as you suddenly choked on your tears. Furiously, you began wiping them away, discontent with the idea of them seeing you unhappy.
Eventually, you gave up, letting your eyes grow red and puffy, no longer caring how you looked. Maggie was like family to you anyway, as you grew alongside Emma you grew alongside Maggie as well, and she was fully aware of the problems you had with your parents.
Taking a deep breath, you raised your hand and knocked on the door. The knocks were weaker than you had intended, and you had not realized how physically drained you were at the moment, still they were enough to be heard.
You heard footsteps behind the door, muffled by the wood in between you. After what had seemed like hours the door opened, revealing a tired looking Maggie. Her face seemed to wake up immediately as she took in your awful appearance.
Her face crinkled into a look of great concern as she took a step closer to you. “(Y- Y/N)? What happened? Are you alright, sweetie?” She put a comforting hand on your arm, rubbing soothing circles as she slowly ushered you inside.
You kept your composure as you stared towards the walls of her home, lip trembling as you attempted to hold back the onslaught of tears.
“My- uh, parents kicked me out.” You spoke, surprisingly calm, turning to face her. Her face immediately turned into a look of empathy and sadness, she figured she knew where this was going. “They found out that I’m gay.” You said the last part even calmer than the first part, clenching your jaw and looking towards the floor. “I had nowhere to go.” You whispered.
She was suddenly there, the mother in her coming out as she rubbed your back. “Oh my goodness, it’s alright! There’s no trouble! You can stay here, let me call Emma down-“ She stopped as her fingers brushed over your skin. “Oh my god, you’re freezing, (Y/N)!” She squealed, immediately ripping her cardigan off and made a move to put it over your shoulders.
“No, no!” You said, completely caught off guard by her sudden act of kindness. “It’s alright Maggie, you can keep your sweater.” You laughed for the first time that night, waving off the warm fabric that was being ushered towards you.
“No, no, no. You are putting this on.” She said, firmly placing the warmth filled sweater on you as she called for her daughter. “Emma! Come down here please!” Your ears perked at the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. Emma appeared, and was completely taken aback by your dishevelled appearance. “Oh my god! Audrey!” She called, running down to comfort you.
Her mother had quickly informed her of the situation at hand, and you watched as her face turned angry, but quickly turned into a look of sadness as she looked over at you, enveloping you in a hug.
Your eyes widened as you saw Audrey running down the stairs, alarmed at Emma’s tone and urgency. She looked extremely panicked as she looked at you, tears streaming down your face as Emma attempted to make you feel better.
“Audrey!” You called, your voice shrouded by your emotions as you ripped yourself out of Emma’s loose grip and launched yourself at your girlfriend. Her arms were wide and waiting for you, and immediately wrapped themselves around you comfortably as you began to cry into her, all of your bottled up emotions overflowing as you gripped her shirt tightly. Brooke loomed at the top of the staircase, a hand over her mouth as she attempted to sustain her shock.
“Oh my god, (Y/N), What happened?” She asked, voice laced with concern. The question only made you cry harder, which earned you sad glances from Emma and Maggie.
Emma leaned in, whispering the events of earlier on into Audrey’s ear, not wanting to upset you further. Audrey’s grip on you tightened as she heard the news, burying herself in your back as a single tear trickled from her eye.
You all stood there for a couple of minutes, the only sound occupying the space was of your crying, which died down to mere sniffles after a while. Brooke had gotten herself downstairs with everyone else, where Emma informed her of the problem as well.
Maggie had gone to make you and the girls some tea, leaving you all together. Soon, the sounds had stopped, and you unlatched yourself from the tight hug Audrey had you trapped in.
You looked her over with puffy eyes, grimacing at the multiple wet spots on her shirt. “Goddamn it.” You spoke, your voice hoarse and small, yet not lacking the humour you always carried. “I ruined your fucking shirt.” The joke was simple, but it was enough to make everyone in the room crack a smile.
“Fuck it, you guys really want to make me happy?” You spoke, looking towards them, forgetting your awful appearance as you smirked towards your friends. “We need food, and Doctor who. Maybe even Supernatural. Or Sherlock!” You smiled, clapping your hands together as you ran towards the kitchen in search of something to fill your stomach up.
The girls looked towards each other with amused looks on their faces, finding your behaviour hilariously enticing. And as you all laughed and smiled as you watched your favourite shows that night, Audrey’s hand snaked around your waist as she cuddled up with you, she looked down at you with complete adoration.
The night was long, but the stars seemed to be made up of your smile, of the twinkle in your eyes whenever you got excited. You were sad and scared but found comfort in her arms, melting in her warm embrace.
You were happy, yet you knew that things wouldn’t be the same anymore. The numbness slowly returned, eating away at your fingertips, echoes at the back of your head, waiting. And when you were alone, it would come back, pounding into your soul like a drum, a heartbeat that you felt you didn’t have anymore- that you couldn’t have anymore.
The pain would tattoo itself into your skin like a brand, a label- something you didn’t want but you somehow needed. A reminder that life isn’t always happy, that it could never stay that way. There would be times in which you were not in her arms, there would be times that you felt like you were left for dead, that you were dead.
Yet, you were loved.

Bisexual teens are so little represented in media, which is why Audrey Jensen means so much to me. Having someone that you actually identify with to look up to makes high school so much easier. It seems like @bext-k values and understands that and I honestly love her so much because of it.

“I’m with you.”
Warnings: N/A
Pairing: Audrey x Reader
Requests: Hi! Could you maybe do one with Audrey from scream where the reader (female) is really self conscious and insecure so Audrey tries to help reassure her.
Words: 981
(Requests are open!)
Audrey’s hand snaked around your waist, pulling you on top of her. Both of you were lost in the kissing and the frantic grabbing that you barely noticed the lack of control. Audrey was working on a sweeter spot new the crook of your neck and moans were escaping from your mouth. “Fuck, (Y/N).” She breathed. Her fingers tugged on your shirt signaling you that she wanted you to take it off, her hands slipped under your top and felt your bare hips. Instantly like she had touched you with hot fire you flung yourself off of her lap and fell with a thump to the ground. “Oh my god, (Y/N) are you okay?” She quickly got off her bed to help you off the ground. Both of you had messy hair, Audrey had no pants on and her shirt was partially off unlike you where your shorts and tee shirt stayed on your body. “No I. I have to. I have to go.” You quickly grabbed your shoes and bag trying to escape clearly embarrassed. Audrey protested, “No wait! I’m sorry. Were we going too fast? I’m sorry (Y/N). I didn’t mean to push you or anything like that-” She wanted to hit herself looking at your uncomfortable face. “Audrey, I’m fine. I just have to go.” You gave her a quick peck on the lips. Audrey ran fingers through her short hair in confusion and wiped her lips, still stinging from your kisses. You pulled away at the last second every time, Audrey didn’t mind waiting but didn’t want you to shy away from her touch. She fell back on her bed with a huff.
“Hey! (Y/N)!” You heard a call from the other side of the hall, pushed a hair behind your ear you bit your lip and continued walking. “Hey!” Audrey caught your elbow making you turn around, “There she is. Hi Baby.” She leaned and kissed you on the lips, you squirmed and gave her a small smile. “Want company?” Audrey offered, you shook your head quickly and said “I actually have to get to class, I’ll talk to you later? Bye Auds.” Audrey frowned but let you walk out of her grasp.
“Whats up with you?” Noah asked Audrey, who was fidgeting around the couch. “I just. I haven’t spoken to (Y/N) at all today and I think. I. It’s (Y/N) she never wants to.. Y’know?” Noah raised his eyebrow, “We were really close to… that and then she pushed me off. Which is fine I can wait but now she isn’t talking to me and I don’t know what to do.” Noah choked on his water before coughing out, “Not what I want to think about. Ever.” She groaned and put her head on the table. Emma chuckled and rubbed Audrey’s shoulder, “Maybe you should talk to her? Beats being cock blocked.” Brooke hummed and sipped on her iced tea. “And I’m sure she knows you don’t want to pressure her. Just talk to her Audrey.” Audrey agreed silently before grabbing her car keys and heading over to your house.
You looked over the thousand of worksheets and textbooks on your bed working like a busy bee doing your homework. A muffled knock hit your door, “Come in!” You yelled before going back to your homework. “(Y/N).” You froze, with a pen in your mouth you turned your body to face her. Audrey. Her. “Uh, hi Audrey.” You removed the pen from your lips and looked back at your work, “(Y/N).” Her voice commanded you to look at her. “Auds, I’m really busy right now, can we maybe just talk later?” She huffed and pulled you out of your study bed making you yell her protest. Her eyes bore into yours, a permanent frown on her lips staring down at you. You felt uncomfortable with her gaze and diverted your gaze onto your desk. “Look at me,” Her fingers forced your chin towards her direction. “Why are you avoiding me? Why don’t you want to kiss me or-or ever get intimate with me?” She blatantly asked, “And tell the truth. I’m not leaving til we’re doing with this.” It was silent for a few minutes before you sighed and confessed with a blush on your cheeks. “I just. I don’t know why.” “Why what?” “Why you decided to be with me.” She moved her head back in surprise “What the hell are you talking about? (Y/N?)” The room had gone cold everywhere except for your warm bodies, “I mean. Why do you want to be with me? I’m ugly and-and fat and I don’t even know. I’m not good enough for you so I just- I just don’t want you to touch me. I’m gross” Audrey hated every word coming out of your mouth. You were perfect and nothing less than amazing and to think that you thought of yourself as these vile things made her sick. Your back was to her, facing your dresser with your hands propped up to steady you, “(Y/N)…” Waving her off with tears glistening your eyes “Just go Audrey.” Audrey grabbed your hand and guided you softly. “I’m with you, I’m your girlfriend because you’re funny and kind… and smart and absolutely breathtaking. I’m absolutely in love with every bit of you.” You shook your head and broke eye contact with her. “Hey. It’s true. God I love your collarbones.” She placed a small kiss on the crook of your neck, “Your cute little shoulders.” Kiss “Your dainty little wrists and your fingers.” She gingerly pressed a kiss to your palms “I love how you shampoo your hair with that scent I love.” She tilted her head, “Your cheeks..” Kiss “Your lips…” She hovered waiting for your signal. “Audrey…” “Please? Let me kiss you. And show you that you’re so unbelievably beautiful and how every part of your body makes me want to do some bat shit crazy things. Don’t shut me out.” You bit your lip and nodded, instantly Audrey kissed your lips that she loved so dearly and well.. She made you feel very loved that night.
