i've been playing cain with a group of four friends and we've made it to missions survived: 4. one of the players recently had a temporal instability thing activate and decided that his character's skintone would go from white to filipino like his mother's.

now, our missions have been mainly in america and we've had a lot of issues trying to casually socialise and deduce information about sins before any fights begin. and in america theres a lot of assumptions made about people based on what they look like. a player (same one who's character's skintone changed) asked someone in america about what the profiling would be like and...

how is reality worse than a fictional game???

wrote, edited, and published about 50k worth of words on ao3 using exclusively my iphone se 2020 about six months ago. my wpm on mobile is the same or better than on my computer.

sometimes when i get ideas in public and i dont want them perceived by any random strangers or people i know i'll write them down on paper in tolkien's elvish and transcribe it later on

💪 Enemies vanquished [cross-stitch pattern] Features Zagreus in his victory pose, which I adore!

I started this pattern last year, designing it in October and finally finishing the stitching this month. I had a hard time stitching in this dark canvas. It's a bit too malleable and it was difficult to keep the correct tension. Oh well!

The pattern comes with 2 bookmark designs, as well! One of the centaur heart, the other with Daedalus' hammer.

I sent out a newsletter today, with the usual discount. I didn't send out one last month because I've been busy with personal stuff, sorry about that!

basically what happened for me was I used to go by Dae. just dae, nothing else, and that was derived from my online name formerly being Shadow. so original i know. anyway, I was obsessed with LOTR and Tolkien's elvish, and shadow directly translated to Dae, which I really enjoyed at the time seeing as it was a homonym to Day.

Skip forward a handful of years and I'm picking a new name because my deadname is not it for me and I decide to take Adrian and Audrey and just kinda smush the names into Audrian, which has worked out surprisingly well for me and I like the name a lot! but people still knew me as Dae so I had to keep it somewhere. and so that became my "last name".

For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)

They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.
