channeled message from archangel michael:
when you commit to a truly spiritual path, you commit to a lifelong battle to tame and subdue your ego. the ego is not inherently evil but it does have the power to create negative consequences. build a relationship with your ego and observe the ways it works against you. when you understand the way something works, it no longer has the power to control you. call on me to aid in the sacrifice of ego attachment. ✨⚖️

I feel like a big part of enjoying life is being able to get excited over the truly small things, like having a fruit you like, wearing your fave socks, the smell of rain or the way light comes through your window.
When my anxiety got very severe last year, the thing that made life worth it was those tiny little things, which became tremendously important when I wasn’t well enough to really do anything or go anywhere for a year. A brown egg, some cute stickers, a wildflower my neighbour brought me on the way home from a party, seeing the weather change every day, watching the birds from my window… It’s happiness in miniature, and deserves some attention.

Don’t be afraid of what lies around the corner, for you are a warrior. The strength within flows through your blood like liquid iron. The resilience of your soul beams with the strongest of supports. Your very skin leaks of passion and anticipation. You are ready for anything.

Just because someone with your illness has a job, goes to school, or can do things you generally cant, does not mean youre faking it.
Dont compare yourself or your illness to them, every illness affects every person differently.
Youre doing the best you can, remember that.

reminder that 30 isn’t old, it’s very normal to not accomplish everything in your 20s, and that it is never too late to learn that thing you’ve always wanted to learn. you’re always growing. that’s a good thing.

Stopping a Spiral
You’re on the floor holding on to yourself like you’ll float away. Your chest burns. Your skin burns. Everything just hurts. You’re not thinking straight. There is some very dark, and very rash things running through your head. This is how to stop a spiral.
1. As soon as you feel yourself starting to panic/dissociate/get dark, get up. Go put yourself around people if you can. Even walking through a park or a public place is good. This is a natural deturant for treating ones self poorly, and the movement, even if for just a flight of stairs or walking a room over, will help.
2. Put on some calm music. Spotify has a lot of chill out play lists that are really nice, no words, just some nice sounds to have in your ears. This can help bring you to a center, slow your heartbeat and soften your mind.
3. Call someone you trust. If they don’t pick up, tell them it’s an emergency and call again. Get a hold of someone who will talk to you. Someone who can come be with you is even better.
4. Put something in your hands. Hold a pet. Hold a warm (not hot) mug of tea or cider. Hold onto a stuffed animal. This can help keep you from scratching or picking at your fingers. These other things also can help put you back in a more positive mindset.
I love you I love you I love you. Please hang in there. You can hang in there I know you can. You are so so so strong, and I’m so proud of you. The ache will dull the longer you work to distract yourself. If you have something to add, please do. Stay safe kids

“You have the key to change your mind at any time, wherever you are. You can learn to switch your mind from emotion to peace and, each time you get distracted, gently bring it back to peace again. Practice this over and over again. You can do this… You have to realize what you’re capable of.”

You shouldn’t have to feel guilty for telling people about your bad days. The point of having friends and loved ones is to have a support system where you both can rely on each other; and it’s okay to lean on those important to you when things aren’t going great. You shouldn’t feel like it’s a burden to talk about things that aren’t always happy. I promise, it’s not a burden. You deserve to talk about your emotions and be listened to the same way you listen to others.
