GREEN; SUCH A FAMILIAR COLOR, the steppe flourishing with it — yellows and browns and the pure blue of the skyn mixing together in harmony. then why was this GREEN such an unwelcome guest? synthetic, a bright beacon, clashing harshly against whitened plate. it made him want to sneer, nose crinkling and lips pulling back, flashing sharp teeth, baring his face like a ravenous animal.
“ you test the PATIENCE of the most radiant sun, ” little more than a grumble, forced back behind the final threshold, waiting, simmering in throat, “ he thinks to make his reason known! ” sudden exclamation of powerful tongue, stretching out arms in mockery of plight. sneer, tranformed into twist of lip, and towering over the man of white and green made him feel a cruel sense of satisfaction.
“ foolish. ” he spat; back, straightened, shoulders, held proudly, and fists, balled to the point of knuckles turning white and firmly being placed at sides — what rich desire it was to feel superior, to be superior; THE ORONIR would always reign supreme — “ then be swift. sing your tale. ”
