"I know and my stupid ass forgot it as I was running out the door this morning so I wouldn't be late to work."
"That's fair." Nico laughed. "Though it is the rainy season so you should know to keep an umbrella on hand with you."

"Well what did you do back in Kildare, Topper?" She raised a brow. "I mean, besides what Gossip Girl says you did." She added and then laughed. "I could hustle you, but I'm not that shitty of a person."
Topper laughed. "I wasn't really one to play pool back there either." He said and looked at her. "I wouldn't put it past you, you know that, right?"

"We did, yeah." Aurora sighed. "It started with Frankie not wanting to go to some Ivy school and then I followed in her footsteps. Apparently being an Astor means we're supposed to be going to Ivy Leauge Colleges, wearing tennis bracelets and being miserable bitches."
"wait, you and your sister got disowned?" jj raised a brow at aurora and shook his head. "that's...how does that even happen?" he asked. he knew his family life was..beyond fucked up, but he couldn't imagine anyone disowning him, then again, with the last hunt, he wouldn't put anything past his so called family.

Aurora looked at Issac. "I mean I do like kepeing a low profile." She said with a shrug. "Makes life a lot easier for me. Besides, I'm in college now, I can't exactly fucking go off and do drugs and whatever."
"I actually frequent this place, Astor, I know the same can't be said for you." Issac looked at her and rolled his eyes. "No, I'm not going to break Skylar's heart." He said. "I'm not hiding or looking for trouble either. I'm here to have fun."

"Oh my gosh, you'd actually be surprised." Aurora laughed and looked at her. "i went to high school with a handful of people who really want that to be real."
Cleo laughed. "Okay, thats a fair point." She said. "I can't imagine anyone would want Jurassiac Park to be real."

"I love those types of books to be honest. It means the author did an actual good job and not just half assed eveything."
"I think that's good though. Like it just means that the book is so well written that you'll never get bored of it."

"Yes, every single detail, Milo!" Aurora laughed and looked at him with a smile and leaned back in her chair and listened. "That's not that exciting, but I'll take it since it's more than I have going on in my life."
"Every single detail? Damn Aurora, what do I look like? A talk show host?" He joked and looked at her. "Fuck, I honestly don't even know where to begin." He admitted. "I guess that I just told them to fuck off when I found out they were trying to take me down."

"Fuck Gossip Girl, Waverly." Aurora laughed and looked at her. "You're showing me the side of you, that I fucking love to hear about! Seriously, you are like that one little baby lamb that no one thinks will be a bad ass and then boom, you're a super bad ass!" She smiled. "I am so glad karma was on your side."
"Your acting like I just told you who Gossip Girl is with that reaction." Waverly teased and smiled. She took a sip of her own drink before continuing, "Well, after I rejected him, he got mad and told me that I was the reason my relationships kept failing, and then walked into a door and broke his nose." She laughed. "Karma was on my side for sure."

"Jesus, men really have the audacity to cheat on the best women ever and then act like a fool."
"He did! After she told him he better not, that's exactly what he did." She laughed and looked at Aurora. "So, all the details I've gotten from her was that he cheated, not once and not with like the typical nanny, but with his mom's best friend. Talk about fucking wild or one of those shit ass stories you read on Tik Tok."

"Are you sure? I mean, people love to bring up what I did to you in the past." Aurora reminded. "And I wouldn't blame you if that was enough to stay away from me."
"Well no, but that doesn't mean we can't try now." She said and smiled when Aurora said she needed this down time just as much as she did. "I'm glad I could help you get out for a bit."

"That's still fucked up." Aurora sighed and looked at Elijah. "I'm sorry that happened to you still." She took a sip of her drink and looked at Elijah. "Now you can have fun though."
"I wasn't technically married. I mean, I guess I was, but it's not like Elise or I even signed anything. It was all fake."

"Man I wish I had been there in person to see that." She said with a laugh. "Oh I get it, I have no clue why people cheat, like if you're unhappy, just leave. It's not that hard." She shook her head. "Anyways, besides the drama, what's been new with you?"
"He did and all the details that I have is that he cheated and she found out and keyed his new Benz, which to be fair, he very much deserved." He looked at Aurora. "You'd think people wouldn't cheat with how crazy people can be but he didn't care. I guess it was something he had done before and it's how he met the current girl he had cheated on."
Brandon wasn't usually one to gossip, but he knew that he could trust Aurora with this information about his friend and his cheating scandals.

"Hey, I'd never take you for that kind of guy, Brandon." Aurora said and looked at him. "I know what kind of guy you are, and I'd never do something that would make you feel like you had to disprect anyone."
"Well believe it or not, I am a respectful guy, Aurora. I don't force people to do something they'd regret and I'm certaintly not going to do something to disresect you, your sister or Jordan."

"They are, yeah." Aurora nodded. "I'm passing everything though my boss at work is a total tool, but it's McDonald's so I gotta start somewhere."
"Ugh I do not miss college at all." Frnakie laughed and looked at her sister. "Are your classes going good at least?"

"The same can be said for you, Fuentes." She coked a brow at him and looked him over. "Why do you look like you're here to break Skylar's heart? If that's the case, I have no issue kicking your ass before you even do it." She folded her arms across her chest and narrowed her eyes at Issac. She really didn't know Skylar like that, but she did remember the fallout and the drama of the whole cheating deboccle and she didn't want Skylar, or anyone, to get hurt like that again.
"Well Fuentes, are you hiding or looking for trouble tonight?" She questioned. "Because if you're looking for trouble, it better be the kind where it involves a horrible ass hangover in the morning and nothing else."
The bass pulsed through the floor, vibrating up through Issac's chest as red and amber lights danced across the sweat-slick walls of the Brooklyn club. His shirt was halfway unbuttoned—more for effect than heat—and his curls were damp from the humidity of the packed crowd. The air smelled like overpriced cocktails, perfume, and the kind of trouble that tasted good at 3AM.
He paused by the bar, the glow from the neon sign catching the angles of his face just right. That’s when he saw them.
A familiar face in the crowd—someone he hadn’t expected to see tonight, but now that he had, there was no way he was letting the moment pass.
With a smirk tugging at his lips and that slow, confident sway in his step, Issac slipped through the bodies and noise until he was close enough to lean in, voice low but smooth.
“Didn’t think I’d find you in a place like this,” he said, cocking his head slightly. “You hiding, or just looking for trouble tonight?” @ggstarterblog

"Yeah I don't have any tattoos and I'm not planning on getting one any time soon." She shrugged. "I just needed to get out of the rain because the last time I walked home drenched in rain, I got a cold for three weeks and I don't want that happening again."
Nico was wiping down the counter, the faint buzz of fluorescent lights the only sound in the quiet tattoo shop as the last of the evening’s clients filtered out. He was about to flip the "Closed" sign when the door swung open, the bell above it chiming with a familiar ring. Nico looked up, his hand still on the handle, and his face lit up with a rare smile.
“Shit, it’s you,” Nico muttered, half-laughing in surprise. "If you want a tattoo, you're gonna have to make an appointment. I'm closed for the night." @ggstarterblog
