Just read the new update! You did a wonderful job pulling in all the elements that I wanted! I thought Spider’s internal thought process was great, and I specifically loved the line about being stuffed into the wrong body and the avoidance of the words period and pad in Spider’s thoughts. It made it feel real for me. You captured the tenderness between him and Ant beautifully and I loved reading it! Manifesting my own version of that Ant to show up in my life haha. I’m so happy you gave this prompt a try even though it’s out of the ordinary, I really appreciate it. If you ever decide to write something else in this transmasc spider universe I would 100% read it!

Ian wants to start making sourdough bread, but first he needs to make a good starter. The first few tries doesn’t work and he’s a little gutted about it, but he’s sure that this next batch will work.

One night, as he’s getting ready for bed, he overhears Mickey in the kitchen, threatening a bowl of sourdough starter “you better work, bitch, ian’s put too much effort into this shit”

Part 4

Now that the SLTS had decided that they were going on road trip and where they were going they now had to start actually organising it. Getting time of off work, packing their things, getting parent permission and of course figuring out who was travelling together.

"We should probably only travel in two cars, five in each" Cash said. It was next day and all the SLTS but Darren and Spider who were at work were other at the apartment again.

Missy who was laying across the couch sat up straight away when she heard that accidentally hitting Ant who was sitting down on the floor. He didn't have much of a reaction to focused on the game he was playing on his phone but Missy gave his shoulder an apologetic squeeze before looking back to Cash

"I'm sorry you think five people should be squeezed up for however long in the cars?" She asked clearly not liking the idea.

Cash wasn't to suprised, he knew that his idea wouldn't be well received from his own partner as well but he still believed it would better to only have two cars instead of multiple.

"Yeah I do" he nodded "it would be a waste of money bringing multiple cars"

Sasha Harper and Amerie who had been talking together joined on into the conversation

"I mean it would save money" Harper agreed seeing his logic. Cash gave her a grateful look he figured if anyone would agree and want to save money it would be her

"Yeah but five people in the car" Sasha said dubiously "I mean who would even travel together?" She asked what everyone had been thinking.

"What if I we put our names in like a generator or something?" Quinni suggested so that way there's no arguments about who travels with who".

"I mean, that would probably work" Malakai agreed hoping that he and Amerie would be able to travel in the same car

"We'd have to do it a few times probably just to make sure there's enough licenced people in each car to swap" Harper mentioned, the others nodded seeing the logic.

"Shouldn we ask Darren and Spider if their ok with this" Cash wondered knowing his partner would most definitely only want to travel for a long period of time with certain people and he kind of figured that Spider would be the same.

"They can suck it up" Amerie shrugged already googling up a name generator and putting their names in it

"Am I doing five people and then five more or just one by one?

"Do one by one" Malakai answered when no one else did.

"Ok car one, person one drum roll please Darren" she looked up at Cash "here's hoping you're not the second person"

The second person was Quinni, who wrote her name down under the car two in her journal. Ant was the third, he went under Car one. Spider was next and under car two

"Shit sorry" Amerie gave Quinni a sympathetic look, she knew she'd never want to be stuck with Spencer White

"Actually, Spider was pretty good when we grabbed the Pizza"

Missy gave her a grateful look for standing up for him, ignoring the shocked looks on the others girls faces.

Pretty soon they had been divided into two

Car one would have: ,

Darren, Ant, Missy, Cash, Amerie

Car two would have: Quinni, Spider, , Harper, Sasha, Malakai

Missy could already feel the headache that would be Sasha, Harper and Spider travelling together and felt bad for him knowing as much as he had been trying he would not have an easy time

Quinni was looking slightly anxious over not being able to travel with her best friends and was in two minds one regretting her suggestion and the other excited over being able to get to know the others in the group.

Malakai and Amerie were of course unhappy they didn't get to travel together, Sasha felt out place in her spot but she always felt out place in the group while Cash was glad he got to be with Darren. Harper would have rathered go with Amerie but apart from Spider her car group was pretty ok.

The only person, apart from Darren and Spider who didn't know about it was Ant, he was still laser focused on his game and hadn't been paying attention.

Quinni gave him a curious look, she got Ike that sometimes.

"Ant hey" Missy flicked his ear and he looked up rubbing his ear "You hear anything?

"Hear what?" He asked so genuinely confused. Missy gave a quick breakdown

"Ahh, right ok so I'm not with Spider" he said trying to sound unbothered "but am with you" he added because Missy was honestly probably one of his best friends now

"Fraid not" she apologised knowing he would have much rather been with him.

He looked down clearly trying to process before he looked up his face back to its usual carefreeness that he wore like a mask

"Not like people can't swap at some point" he smiled with a shrug

Spider predictability did not take the news well "can't we just choose who we we go with or do another round of the name thing?" He had finished work and was back at the apartment between Ant and Missy who had just informed him who he would be travelling with.

Ant was back to being laser focused on the game on his phone and wasn't paying attention to anything.

Missy was leaning into her boyfriend's side her hand moving up down reassuringly, she understood why he felt so unhappy about it and he had good reason to. She just hoped that Quinni and Malakai would be able to keep the peace.

"This should be fucking illegal" Darren muttered, they were standing against Cash who was hugging them from behind. The SLTS were finally heading off on their trip. They had decided to leave early in the morning, so early that it was still pitch black outside.

Quinni and Sasha were double checking that everything was packed.

Spider and Missy who were both morning people were standing together with Ant who was very much not a morning people.

"Ok so Sash and I have checked everything and we definitely have it all" Quinni announced to the group.

"Right ok, let's hit the road" Malakai said excitedly, he much like Spider and Missy was morning person and had been waiting to leave eagerly all morning.

The group after saying goodbye to the ones who weren't travelling with them separated into the two cars.

Spider got into the driver's seat of his car, Quinni got onto the passager seat beside him while Sasha, Malakai and Harper squished up in the back. Everyone but Spider had bags down by their feet.

In the second car Cash had taken the role of the first driver, Darren beside him with Missy, Ant and Amerie in the back. Similarly to the other car everyone but the driver had bags by their feet.

Once everyone was plugged in the SLTs started their road trip.

everytime someone asks me what my favourite thing is, fanfiction is the first that comes to mind.

breaking my silence we as a fandom (collective) need to have a quick meeting. now look, we love praising fan artists and giving them lots of love which, hey they deserve it cuz they’re amazing and incredible and talented and should be revered but!! i think we need to give an equated amount of love to fanfic writers. these mfs are a) putting their time and effort into A NON PROFIT PIECE OF MEDIA entirely for their and our benefit just because they want to b) going through life threatening situations to get their chapters out c) using their talents to feed our delusions and desires d) making OUR LITTLE DUMB HEADCANONS COME TO LIFE!! THEY MAKE IT HAPPEN!! THEY MAKE IT REAL!! i will literally forever be indebted to fanfic writers bc no matter if their work gets 10000 hits 10 hits or stays in their notes app they STILL!! WROTE IT!! still took the time to carefully craft and mend their masterpiece!! made someone’s day even if it was their own!!! the fact that some of them come up with LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF WORDS OF FIC feels kinda undermined to me??? like mf they DID THAT AND NO ONE ASKED THEM TO? (mean that positively) LIKE THEY JUST DID? not to mention the research and genuine care that goes into some fics I’ve seen. and the fact that some try to make their fics accessible by writing it so anyone who isn’t even in the fandom understands the story?? anyway. fanfic writers all around not just mutuals (tho i love u guys) truly, you’re amazing. kindergarten teacher voice everyone say thank you fanfic writers. <3333333333

I've seen a few people over my short time of having tumblr do this. i wasn't originally going to but I'm bored so here I am

I'm 18 female, my real name will never be revealed here but you can call me by username, that girl or honestly whatever you want really. and I live in Australia

While I do read mostly fanfiction now my favourite paper book series is The Land of Stories its highly underrated so please check it out.

I have a quotev account which i made years back, quotev was what introduced me to fanfiction, i was looking up quotes from a movie i liked and hit the v instead so all this was created by hitting the wrong letter.

My inboxes are open if wanna send questions about anything really or just have a random chat but if you're just being a dick I won't be answering.

These are some suggestions for you to help with the transmasc spider piece!

(im genderfluid not transmasc- however spider gives me so much gender envy sometimes that it hurts to look at him -so take this with a grain of salt)

for me, dysphoria feels like something deep inside me is unsettled. It feels like something is fundamentally wrong because my brain and body aren’t aligned no matter how i look. I wish i could to “reset” myself like ripping all the stuffing out of a teddy bear and filling it with something new

getting my period when i feel masc-aligned is awful. Not just the actual blood but everything that comes with it (mood, wacky emotions, cramps, having to use “feminine” products) i want to hide away and not let anyone perceive me ever again. I’d have to REALLY love and trust someone to want them around during it.

i take continuous birth control to prevent periods but its not always consistent and I end up having one every 3-5 months (not regular, hard to predict) this would make sense as to why he might have not been expecting it and wasn’t prepared

thats what i can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully it helps!
