My comic for SENSORY: Life on the Spectrum! Organised by Schnumn.
On harm reduction and understanding NSSI! Many autistic folk have normalised harmful behaviours as coping mechanisms in our daily lives and this comic is meant to help people recognise their self injuring behaviours and (hopefully) begin to see pathways to reducing their frequency.

Do autistic kids "grow out" of their autism? Why does it sometimes seem like there are so few autistic adults?
For Autism Acceptance Month, I covered this topic in this comic to help explain this disconnect! YouTube | TikTok | Instagram | Twitter

honestly i’m so glad that the landscape of social media has changed so much that autistic people can feel safe to joke abt their autism and relate to other autistic ppl thru it. this is what autism acceptance should be more about and i am not joking

I have autism, I often get into my own little world when I can and I have a habit of talking to myself in different impressions and even my voice and face feels weird.
But I think it's why I can't handle my emotions well, I'm 20 at the moment, I've been cat-called by some stupid 12 year olds in my area whilst running one night and I felt my face giggling and twist into a smile and I HATE that, I actually feel disgusting since that incident.
What do you think I should do?

Like Narancia said, it isn't your fault that you still have little control over your emotions! I'm sure that you are still trying your best to handle them. Take your time to slowly learn to be mindful of your current emotions, before taking the actions to control them in various situations. It's a process that takes time and effort, but I'm sure that you can do this! Really, take all the time that you need. I know that it is not easy so don't be too hard on yourself as well ⭐️

I hate how stim and stimming have been maimed to be palatable to a neurotypical audience. And how autistic people can’t stim without getting dirty looks but people will go on and on about slime videos and soap cutting or whatever is the “trendiest” thing at the moment.
How we can’t even use stim toys without being called “cringy”. Don’t get me wrong I have lots of visual stims saved on my phone for after meltdowns. I’m just pissed at neurotypical people for taking our things and twisting them into “Trendy Instagram” videos because let’s be real, this ain’t it chief.
Neurotypical people encouraged to rb
