just for anyone who still says bucks reaction to eddie leaving for texas is normal best friend behavior- both of my best friends went out of state for college this year while i'm still in state taking a gap year

here's a list of things i did do:

-be sad

-text them way too much

-hang out with my 11 year old brother a lot

and a list of things i did NOT do:

-move into or even consider moving into either of their houses in their absence

-refuse to actually sleep in said house

-subconsciously attempt to sabotage the move

-resort to uncontrollable stress baking

-hook up with my ex

everyone being so shocked by fiyero being kinda fruity in the movie kills me bc like. he has ALWAYS been a fruitcake guys!!! this is not news! his name is FIYERO. that's gay as SHIT

elphaba is dating both glinda and fiyero but glinda and fiyero are besties that just share a girlfriend (do NOT tell me glinda didn't have comphet bc girllllll)

once a month they kick elphaba out so they can have best friend slumber parties in which they spend half the time giggling about their gf and doing each others hair

elphaba thropp has TWO HANDS guys

i've said it once (read: several times- my friends are probably growing tired of it) and i will continue to say it for as long as i must: several (not all, but a few) problems in wicked would have been solved if elphaba glinda and fiyero were just a throuple. i rest my case.

"are you glinda or elphaba???" man i'm gonna be so fr i'm just fiyero. no thoughts just out here doing literally anything for a pretty girl that looked at me once and covering up my insecurities with a little giggle and a skip!

eddie tries to bring up that chris did the same thing and buck is like- and chris was not a full grown man with a job and a mortgage and like. a developed frontal lobe do NOT with me!!!

i am immensely distressed over 911 8x08 but instead of processing that distress i offer you: once all this shit is blown over, buck never lets the whole "moving to texas" thing go.

eddie pisses him off and buck threatens to move to texas. someone vaguely annoys eddie and buck is like "careful he might move to texas!" buck and chris do something just them for a day and before they leave buck is like "don't go moving to texas while we're gone!"

after they're together, whenever eddie does something that annoys him, buck prints off zillow listings for homes in el paso and just tapes them up in the walls around the house. eddie is 10 minutes late coming home from the grocery store and buck texts him- did you go to texas?

they get engaged and buck bars texas from being their honeymoon spot because "eddie might not come back if we do!" everyone except for eddie finds this all immensely hilarious and buck keeps it up for the rest of their lives

911 is so beautifully heavy handed i love it so much. the lakers tickets being a call back to how they got together (basketball game that turned buck evil and was literally about eddie). tommy being the one to randomly bring up eddie. i'm not your last. eddie defensively saying i'm straight. eddie letting himself feel joy and then literally opening the door to buck. they are not dropping crumbs they are dropping entire loafs of bread and i am saying THANK YOU
