The clocks have gone forward, so now my timezone is BST (British Summer Time) :)

"Who's Windcrash I wonder?" Jolt murmured.

Optimus nodded and chuckles slightly "Indeed, we can discuss things in the morning and introduce you to our human allies" he replied "and you introduce us to the rest of your team" he added.

Ironhide mostly stayed quiet, while he could tell that these Decepticons weren't their Decepticons from this universe, he just had a hard time with trust.

Stealing from a base was never something that Soundwave particularly enjoyed doing, especially when they weren't sure of who's base it even was! But they needed fuel, and the scanners had said this place held plenty of it. So he'd snuck in, Breakdown waiting outside in altmode to be loaded up.

Quiet, quiet....every careful step of the pede could spell trouble if he made it too loudly.

The location was Earth, Diego Garcia, and it was around nighttime by the looks of things, so it was silent around the base.

However, there was one Autobot that was up, well...it wasn't like he had wanted to be, plagued by nightmares nearly every night because of his past and the many, many fights he had been involved in, Ironhide sighed a little as he lay on his back staring up at the ceiling, however as he lay there he thought he heard something, like...footsteps? Maybe one of the younger Autobots were deciding to be sneaky, but at this time of night? It could only mean them causing trouble for the humans, so he got up out his berth and opened the door to his quarters, walking out and looking around for the culprit.

Optimus nodded and smiled a little fondly "I see, well as much as we would love for the little ones to come out, it is actually the middle of the night and our human allies are in recharge, so we cannot disturb them with little ones running around" he replied, offering an apologetic smile.

"They'll have to wait until morning" Ratchet added.

Ironhide wasn't the biggest fan of fireworks, they reminded him too much of explosions from battles, but he could at least admit that he liked the colours, and it was nice to see how the young humans enjoyed the fireworks, he could definitely grasp the concept of celebrating a new year, a new begining, out with the old and in with the new, a clean slate, he would always have the physical and mental scars from his past, but with this life that he had on Earth, he could try and move forward to face the new year.

Escape//Reblog To Roleplay

He had finally escaped after what felt like an eternity, Ironhide had been in that horrible place since he was thirteen stellar-cycles old, now he was an adult, the scars from that place a constant reminder of it. He looked around, everything looked so pristine, untouched by the fighting going on inside the Gladiator Pits, it was like a new world despite knowing it was Cybertron, he heard the sound of alarms coming from where he had just escaped from, he had to run or he would get caught again, so without looking back he made a run for it, he didn't know that he could transform into an alt mode, how would he? It wasn't something he had been taught, but as he ran he felt something, like he was imagining being on four wheels rather than two pedes, before he knew it he transformed into an alt mode, engine revving before he sped away "What the frag?!" he exclaimed, a bit unsteady in his driving but at least didn't run anyone over.

Ironhide didn't know how long he drove, hours maybe, but he just wanted to get as far away from Kaon as possible, he was now approaching a new city, Iacon, maybe someone here could help him.

How long had he been here? Time just felt like it had blurred together at this point, but he at least knew that he was nearing adult age, having been in this place since he were thirteen stellar-cycles old, he almost couldn't even remember what the outside world looked like, all he could go by were memories of his time as a Sparkling, even if it had been in Kaon it had still been home, just him and his Sire, he felt a wave of emotion come to the surface, almost, at the thought of his now deceased Sire, but he couldn't cry, he couldn't show weakness, he wouldn't give the guards the satisfaction of seeing him cry, the scars were a permanent reminder as to what happens if he does, he looked down at the shackles on his wrists, would he ever get out of here? He would probably have to go out and fight again soon, he had to, he had no choice, who would he have to face this time?

⚠️ Night terrors, emotional numbing ⚠️

It had happened again, another night, another night terror of his past, Ironhide awoke from recharge, had he been a human he would've been in a cold sweat, he took a few deep breaths to calm his racing Spark, this was almost routine for him now, as sad as it was, he couldn't remember the last time he had had a proper night's recharge without being plagued by nightmares of his past, even though a part of him knew why, he had no healthy coping mechanisms for the nightmares, his PTSD, the flashbacks, all he could do was just keep everything bottled up, to not show signs of weakness, the Gladiator Pits had certainly drummed that into him about showing his emotions being a weakness, he gave a sigh and got out his berth, this was routine, wake up from night terror, go for a walk to calm his nerves, go back to sleep, have another night terror, wake up in the morning, rinse and repeat. He quietly exited his quarters, glancing around the dark hallways of Diego Garcia, before he quietly walking towards the exit of the hangar.
