its the way theyre so fond of their younger selves. like yes dan recognizing that he was a menace back then, but not being mean about it. phil saying he can't hold a camera steady. but it's all laced with fondness. that was them! in manchester! their first proper place together! right before their lives took off into the wild and crazy. a snapshot of their cozy little life together
