one of the best decisions yellowjackets has ever made is reverting the women back into girls at their most vulnerable moments. shauna when she kills adam, nat laying her head in lottie's lap, misty seeing young natalie in the mirror, misty in the morgue seeing lottie because this truly hammers home that their lives stopped the moment that plane went down and that no matter how much time has passed by, they're still those teenage girls who were on their way to their football game and lost 19 months of their lives trying to survive.

If I had a nickel for every time a teen girl wilderness survival show had a homoerotically charged scene where one girl said “I’ll fucking kill you” while another was pinned to a rock/tree, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot. BUT HOW IN THE FUCK DID IT HAPPEN TWICE

I love the trend of mlm teen shows being cute romances, heartfelt moments, dealing with school etc. And then the wlw teen shows are like What if you're all trapped in the wilderness and forced to survive and you come up with intricate rituals and you can't live with or without each other and you're suffering and constantly facing death and...

My fursona, Tip hasn't had a ref sheet done since 2021! So almost 4 years later, it was a labor of love to revamp my baby going into 2025. Very happy with how this came out!
