[I know t0rrenting seems super scary for some, maybe most people, but it's actually very very easy and a useful tool to learn, especially in an era of increasing internet censorship and everything getting more more more expensive. I won't direct link anything but in light of many sims 2 download links being wiped, I'll mention that a sims 2 help subreddit has a link to a t0rrent for the game [though you need a microsoft email account to access it]. NOTE: if you live in the US [and some other countries with strict anti-piracy measures, like Germany] you NEED a VPN to torrent, and you need to 'bind' your t0rrent client to the VPN; otherwise you could indeed get in a little trouble with your Internet Service Provider, though any legal action is very unlikely. Again, no direct links from me, google and reddit are your friend]
