I joke about Caine rebooting at the mention of sex but that's actually terrifying. Imagine how just a single word will straight up brainwash you until you forgot the entire conversation

ngl theories about how the series will end that just directly copy IHNMAIMS lowkey tick me off because do you know how much of a cop-out that would be? ‘Oh TADC will end with everyone escaping except for one character because that’s what happens in IHNMAIMS’, tell me right now, would anyone actually like if TADC just one-for-one ripped off a story that came out over half a century ago instead of making its own unique ending? TADC may be inspired by it but it differs from IHNMAIMS in a bunch of aspects that having it just copy whole plot points would go against the themes it’s set up.

Listen Caine has been keeping me up for nights on end coz like, no on appreciates his art! Like i get it, their all going through hell and its a little hard to appreciate shit. But man like. If it were me id keep getting distracted by all the cool shit. I'd keep just looking at everything and and loving the work that goes into it. And also praising the artist coz like fuck yeah!!!! you made this???? thats amazing!!!

That and also Caine has grabbed my full attention and I just wanna love and and appreciate and validate and wrap in a warm blanket and give his lil forehead a kiss-

General discussion of Caine's character and the fandom attitude towards him

(i am aware everything i say here might be proven wrong in the next episode but i dont mind it if its the case) As far as i can see it (tho im aware im probably giving a lot of grace to Caine's character), i think hes keeping the crew in the circus to give his own existence meaning, and hes acting more and more desperately for admiration. I think he wants the members to enjoy themselves and wants the best for them, but what he doesn't realize is that they cant as long as they are in the circus against their free will. If the show has a good ending im pretty sure the crew will promise to come back and visit the circus to go on adventures in their free time so that they actually can enjoy them if Caine lets them go. What i really dislike seeing in the fandom is most people outright hate Caine, say with full conviction that he's evil and torturing the crew on purpose, while in the same breath defend Jax for his actions. I know we don't fully grasp Caine's motivations yet, (hell he's not even confirmed to be AI in the show yet). But i wonder why if you say Jax is a bad person for acting the way he does, you get hundreds of fans defending him and justifying his actions, and Caine doesnt get an ounce of that same attitude towards him. Dont get me wrong, i understand that Jax is a flawed but well written character, even if i dont agree with his actions. And this might be a really hot take here but i apsolutely HATE (haha) the AM comparison to Caine. Its just a bad overdone meme to me at this point. We're talking about a guy who draws bees for fun, creates entire worlds and narratives to entertain his guests and tries his best to meet their expectations.

I understand Gooseworx wanted to engage with fans early on and give everyone snippets into the show creation process. And this engagement with viewers thru the mentions of them in the episodes with the whole character voting, and mentioning them as the committee, and marketing of the merch is very fresh and fun. But i ultimately think Goose giving so much away in their posts impacted the show in a negative way long term. I can't say how many people jumped to the AM comparison on their own or from Goose's posts but its kinda sad because now we have less original interpretations of Caine's character as he exists in the show. AM was driven by his hatred for humans for all the things he didn't posses, wiping out humanity in its entirety and spending 400 years entertaining himself with elaborate torture narratives of the survivors. And Caine freaked out when he found out people didn't like him...

TLDR; i dont think caine is evil and i dont like that most fans are 100% convinced he is, despite little evidence in the actual show to support this as of writing this (episode 6)
