Save My Brother Samer’s Life 🚨

I’m writing as a brother watching Samer struggle for survival. His health has deteriorated to the point of falling into a coma, and we are unable to provide him with the necessary treatment. 💔

Samer suffers from bipolar disorder, and his stability relied on daily medications including LeponeX (Clozapine), Depalept Chrono (Sodium Valproate), and Lithium CO3 (Lithium Carbonate). These medications helped stabilize him, but without them, his health has worsened significantly. Every moment is crucial, and the pain and worry are relentless. 😞

There is no place for my brother in the hospital, and we cannot secure the treatment he needs. Imagine being unable to help your own brother as he struggles, without a way to provide the medicine he needs to recover.

Your donation could be the only hope to bring Samer back to life, giving him a chance to heal and come back to us. 🙏

As Gazans continue to starve due to Zionist blockade and genocide, mutual aid networks on the ground run by Gazans like Eyad mean the difference between survival and death. This is @abdalsalam2000's blog banner. Nader is a Palestinian teenager trying to raise money for his family of seven (parents, brothers, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew) to escape the genocide in Gaza.

He's been active on tumblr for a long while now, and was one of the first to have their campaigns vetted: #4 on the gazavetters list! His goal is €50,000 (equivalent to around $56,723 with current exchange rates) which would enable his family to travel to safety.

Nader has worked extremely hard to raise these funds--tirelessly initiating conversations with strangers on tumblr, building social relationships, and promoting his campaign. He's raised €41,213 so far.

I can't imagine how hard it must be to have worked so hard, for so long, under such brutal conditions. To be so close to raising the total funds you need (82% of the way there!) but because you are just under €9,000 short, your family is still trapped.

Please help him raise the remaining 18%. After all of this, let it not be in vain.

Salem was able to get out of Gaza and travel to Sweden for medical care after bombing shrapnel hit his back and left him paralyzed. However, the medication costs are too much for him to keep up with. If you'd like to support a disabled Gazan continue to get the medical care they need, please donate or reblog this. His fundraiser is low on funds and despite having been up since January, has only gotten 3 donations.

My family is going through very difficult times. My mother is sick and urgently needs a heart device, which is very expensive. My brother was injured and had to get 80 stitches in his arm. I’m the only provider for my family—I lost my job and had to stop my master’s studies because of the situation.

Since February 2024, I’ve been trying to support my family, but things are very hard. Food and water have become scarce, and hope fades with every passing day.

I never imagined I’d live to see my home burn before my eyes, unable to save a single thing.

The Israeli army stormed our neighborhood and set our house on fire. Everything burned — the walls, our memories, my siblings’ photos, our clothes. Even the scent of home has turned into smoke and fear.

But the fire wasn’t enough. They left behind bottles they had urinated in, as if to mock us. They wrote on our walls, boasting about their destruction — proud of what they did to people who had nothing.

What’s left is a scorched skeleton of our home, half-destroyed, no longer livable. Yet it still holds the ashes of our dreams. My siblings ask me every night, “When can we go home?” And I have no answer.

We sleep on the floor. I hold my family tight with a heart full of pain, praying the morning doesn’t bring more loss. I ask myself:

Why so much hatred? What did we do to deserve this cruelty?💔

Where is the world? Why is no one stopping them? I’m not asking for much — just safety, dignity, and a roof to protect my family. Our home wasn’t a palace, but it was our world. And now… we have no world left.
