That’s the whole point of character development. I don’t know if you’ve read any of those fics (or maybe you just came across some bad ones), but writers usually try to make Antinous a better person. We’re not shipping Telemachus with the Antinous who tries to kill him and rape his mother, we’re shipping him with the version that exists in our imagination. The one who lets go of his thirst for power because he loves the prince. The one who would protect him with his life and love him unconditionally. It’s not the Antinous from The Odyssey we’re attached to, it’s the Antinous we created.
I hate sharpwolf. I don't care even if it's the Odyssey! Sharpwolf, it's still disturbing. Just because that type of trope is normalized does NOT justify how wrong and problematic it is!!!!!!
"It's just fiction" AND IT REFLECTS ON WHO YOU ARE. Can we please stop justifying toxic literary just because it's fiction?
Honestly concerns whoever ships/enjoys the ship took one look at it and said : "oh a man and the man who tried to kill him + attempted to kill his father + made his and his mother's life miserable is a cute pair"
"Many other fandoms has the same type of ships" again. Just because it's normalized does not make it any less problematic!!

I designed all 15 suitors of Penelope that are mentioned in the Odyssey… I have no regrets, I love them so much, I will never let them go. Considering yapping sessions for each one based on their known stories and my headcanons for them

Nestor : im pleased to see my youngest is settling well in the army !
Antilochus being hand-fed figs by Achilles.
Patroclus stripping Antilochus almost naked to treat a minor injury on his chest.
Patroclus and Achilles bathing Antilochus after a battle.
Achilles pressing himself against Antilochus and holding his body to show him the best position to use a bow.
Antilochus sitting between Patroclus' thighs, who's combing his hair.
After a night of drinking wine together, Antilochus falling asleep in Achilles's tent, held tightly between him and Patroclus.
Nestor : aww look at him, hes already forging fraternal bonds

Beautiful art! ❤️ Have you read George O'Connor's Olympians graphic novels? Your artwork with the minotaur and Ariadne reminds me of his book Poseidon, when Theseus brings the minotaur's head to Ariadne and she says, "His name was Asterion. I used to put flowers in his hair."
I HAVEN'T but I should what. that sounds so sad
