Admission

AMC Engineering College offers various technical courses provision to the requirement of the present competitive world. All programs are affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) - New Delhi. The duration of the course shall be four academic years and conducted in eight semesters.

Process of Admission

Admissions are open for both Karnataka and outside Karnataka students. Eligible students (those who meet the requirements as per the Eligibility Criteria) will be selected based on their academics.

Eligibility Criteria

The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Computer Science /Electronics /Biology as optional subjects.

In case of students belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks required for eligibility criteria will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

Engineering Admission Procedure

Candidate seeking admission for pursuing Engineering courses in Bangalore, have to pass the entrance exam conducted by the State admission authority- KCET and COMEDK. The candidates can also appear for JEE Main which is a national level entrance exam to join the engineering course.

The admissions in the colleges are based on the rank obtained by the student. After the results are out, the candidates should register for counselling.
