09. look after you.

the city pulses with life, a never-ending hum that drowns out everything else. cars rush by, people weave through the streets, and the lights—they flicker like they're alive, like they're trying to outshine the stars above. but all of it, the noise, the chaos, it blurs together, spinning faster than i can keep up. it’s like i’m standing still while the world rushes past me, and i can't catch my breath. parang nawawala ako.

and then there’s you.

you’re the only one who seems to move at a different pace. steady love, that’s what i think of when i see you. habang ang lahat dumadaan lang—people come and go without a second thought—ikaw, nandiyan ka pa rin. will you? won’t you? will you be the one who stays when everyone else drifts away? because it feels like you will. it feels like you’re meant to be here, meant to be the one i always know, the one constant in this fleeting, dizzying world.
