yeehaw, fellow friends! the name is bianca and this baby here is chae hoon, also known as mob. he’s nineteen and his power is self-replication which means the chances of you having seen him around or at least one of him are very high. not that you would be able to avoid him very easily. he’s part of the welcome wagon sub-plot aka the welcome committee so, newbs, expect a lot of excited hoons mobbing you (winks). i’ll leave some info and fun/sad points for those interested to get to know him a bit better! feel free to reach out to me on twitter (luvseungjoon) or on discord as FRUITS NICO !!!!!#0028. if not, a simple like to this post will award you a bianca in your ims!! thank you for the attention and i can’t wait to interact with you all!!

BASE BIO

born in seoul, sk

mother is powerless; father can freeze things with his breath

started making clones since he was a baby which scared the heck out of his parents when random babies started showing up in the house

was always very sociable and friendly. basically got to practice his social skills very often with replicas of himself.

joined the academy on the year he turned 16, aka 3 years ago. hard to miss him since day 1.

recently was invited to the welcome committee which he accepted joyfully. loves meeting new people and gets to show them around??? sweet!!!!

POWER

self-replication means to able to make copies of himself and comes with the extra ability to recombine them back together.

his record of clones kept healthily at the same time was 10 (including with him, the original, a total of 11 hoons.) however, he can most commonly only maintain 4 at the same time without it taking a toll on his energy and health. 

if any of the replicas are hurt it will not effect hoon or the other replicas. however, if hoon is the one hurt, the replicas may suffer loss in their strength, depending on the level of the injury. if the original gets a cut the copies will not get a cut as well. instead, his body will have to focus its strength on healing himself instead of keeping a lot of clones alive.

making too many clothes may also result in faulty copies. ( tw: gore, dismemberment, body distortion, etc ) this may be mental or physical. when he overdoes himself, it isn’t uncommon for only parts of his body to multiply instead of a full copy. dismembered limbs have sadly become a common sight during practice. some other times it’s a nearly fully developed body with serious defects that don’t allow them to live. hoon and his close do not share the same mind or something hive-like. each clone comes with the most recent line of thought the original had during the moment of its creation. this means if he had a plan, the replica will know how to execute it. from this point on, however, they’d need to communicate verbally to get things done. they are all, essentially, hoon, though. they’ll think almost the same but with the expected few differences.

his clones all come fully clothed. this means he can also replicate the outfits he’s wearing, as well as any small object that could fit into his pockets. however, this is all subconscious. if he thinks too much about this, his clones will come out naked which wouldn’t be the first time (all accidentally!!!!!)

for hoon to recombine with his clones, he must touch them somehow. if a clone stays alive for more time than it should, it’ll dissipate into energy.

FUN TRIVIA

wears braces!!!!!!!!!!!! (hover his icon for visual) and has been wearing them for the longest time. ever since the year started, though, he’s been excitedly telling every person he meets about how this is the year he’ll get them removed. just you wait for it!!!

if you need a hand, feel free to call hoon who’ll go there himself, and if in need of extra help, he’ll be able to do the job with the help of... himself. has the instinct to stop and help anyone he sees.

makes way too many shadow clones references from naruto.

yes, he has already tried kissing himself. stop asking!! it was very weird!!!!

if going for a special event or occasion, he will use his clones to try outfits and see what fits best.

being funny, friendly, cute and talented is not enough for him. hoon does have amazing grades, or else the headmistress wouldn’t have picked him to take part in the committee. he’s very humble, though.

even so, his talents stop around there. he can’t play any instruments or speak different languages. he feels sad about it, but the more he wants to learn, the busier he seems to get.

if you scare him right a new hoon may pop out.

very oblivious to any feelings people may have towards him but if he’s the one with emotions then it’s very clear.

SAD TRIVIA

( tw: gore, dismemberment, body distortion, sad stuff, etc. ) due to the often sight of not only limbs but his own body coming out deformed, it takes a toll on his mental health that hoon rarely shares with anyone. the more he pretends it's fine, the worst it gets, and hoon always says he’s fine. it’s hard to see yourself with your stomach right open with your guts spilling out, and much harder to make it happen yourself then having to touch it to bring it inside your body. it’s a painful process, but one he must go through. while his childhood is mostly told by himself as something fun and cute with all his clones, his kid energy was actually very bad for him. he used to make clones all the time, and the more clones he made, and the longer they stayed, the worst it was for his health. hoon often ended in the hospital for overusing his powers. there wasn’t much people could do to stop him from making new clones. exhaustion is something he met too often.
