This is the work of Sam Yang a 23 years old contemporary artist. He recreated Girl with a Pearl Earring the famously known artwork of Johannes Vermeer a Dutch Golden Age painter. He used the first element and principle of contemporary arts which is the Appropriation, he recreated Vermeer's art in his own art syle. Yang also used Technology art, he redraw it using a drawing tablet and a software.

Reflection on the poem "Ang Guryon" by Ildefonso Santos.

Ang Guryon a poem written by Ildefonso Santos taught me that our life is like a flying a kite. There will be times that we will face challenges and we will fail, but as we go through these trials we should remember to be courageous and believe in ourselves. We should also listen or follow the lessons our parents are teaching us because it might be the key for us to be successful in life. The greatest family value that I learned here was to have faith and put your trust in God, because in Him all things are possible.
