I want it so badly it hurts.

My desire to have a baby.. a family.. to be a mother and see my husband as a father.. it’s a desire SO big that I can feel it. And on those bad days, I want it so badly that it emotionally, mentally, and physically.. hurts. I can feel it in my gut, heart and chest. That aching desire. That crushing pain. That suffocating feeling. I’ve never wanted something so badly.

Many people think Cystic Fibrosis just impacts upon your lungs, however it can impact upon every aspect of an individuals body including their fertility.

•

I am feeling beyond blessed to announce that after 19 months of doctors and hospital appointments, 1 operation for me, 1 round of #ICSI (the form of IVF we required), 14 home injections, a trip to theatre and a general anaesthetic for my wife, our little miracle is due in October 2019 💫❤️

I am so grateful that I found someone who is willing to spend their life with me despite the set backs I may impose upon theirs due to my CF . Seeing the impact infertility had upon my wife broke my heart, however I am beyond happy that our dream has become true and our family is now complete!

I can now die happy, feeling like I have actually beaten CF! Growing up I was aware of the facts that I may not survive until adulthood; however the reality is completely different to those facts. My life is more fulfilled despite my CF then I could have ever imagined, and to say that I will soon become a Daddy is something I never imagined would actually happen.

even though the show is set in the present day, they’ve decided to go with the 70s aesthetic vibe which looks just astonishing + the soundtrack slaps

the reason behind the father being hesitant and (at first) not really supportive of his gay son using make-up and dressing up is that he’s genuinely scared and worried something will happen to him outside because he loves him… truly a father-gay son dynamic we needed to see

the hero of the show actually being an awkward guy and a very likeable character
