Mathias shrugged before he flashed a small smile, “I don’t really know... I’ve seen so many years pass, so I’m not really sure if I’ll miss this one.”
He glanced over the buffet, hoping to buy himself some time so he could come up with a more optimistic answer. “I guess I can just hope to be able to spend more time with my family” his looked up at Berwald and now he was flashing a wider smile than before.
Berwald resisted making a face-palm at that bad joke, and rather held up his arm and looked at his watch. “Ah dun’t think a coupl’ uv hours w’uld mak’ a differenc’, no…”¹
“So soon this year is ova’… sad ta see it go, o’ happeh ta be rid uv it?”²
¹(I don’t think a couple of hours would make a difference, no…) ²(So soon this year is over… sad to see it go, or happy to be rid of it?)

Mathias turned to look at his brother and a wide toothy smile graced his featured at the suggested birthday, “fine I’ll supply the booze and the cake as long as you host it.” He couldn’t help but grin at how this conversation was evolving and he gently patted the other mans hand before he removed it.
“So should we start planning already, or should we wait until next year?” he asked, laughing a bit over his use of words and his horrible humor.
Berwald wasn’t really mad about it, he understood that Mathias just couldn’t ignore his work. Though it had felt a bit weird after all that they had planned, and it was indeed much calmer than he had prepared for.
He puts his hand on Mathias’ shoulder and tried his best to smile, with not such a great result. “It’s okaeh, we can alwaehs do a joint’d birthdaeh parteh otha’wis’. Tho’gh if we do th’t yu paeh fo’ all tha booze. Punishment.”¹ He thinks that maybe he should force Mathias to only buy Swedish booze too then.
¹(It’s okay, we can always do a jointed birthday party otherwise. Though if we do that you pay for all the booze. Punishment.)

“Thanks” he flashed him a smile before he took the offered glass in his hands. He looked at the golden liquor, studying it before he lifted the glass to his lips, taking a small sip, “German...” he mumbled to himself before he took a larger sip.
He removed the cold glass from his lips and he looked around, trying to figure out who he should talk to before he had too much too drink. He spotted several of his friend in the crowd, Laura was among them and he made a mental note about saying hi to her around midnight.
“So is there anyone who you have a good eye too?” he asked the Norwegian in a teasing voice before taking yet another sip from the glass.
New Years
Patrick had looked around the room, people were already having fun. He nodded before going to find them both something to drink. There were lot of different things. He had never been much of a beer drinker when there was so much else to choose from. Though he wouldn’t want to get hammered before it had even started.
He ended up pouring beer in both their glasses and returned to the other. “Here you go” he said as he handed him a glass. He might as well start off slow, he actually didn’t want to get drunk.

“Beer, or mead has always been a favorite of mine.” he replied as the clinking sound of the bottles filled the air between them and he too took a sip from the deep green flask. “Though I think you could have chosen a better supplier...” a wide grin appeared on his lips after the words had left his mouth and he couldn’t help but chuckle.
While it had seemed everyone had wanted to talk to him, and he had ended up talking to everybody, he spotted through the crowd a tall figure. His eyes narrowed, making sure he looked right before he approached, slapping the other's shoulder as though they had been pals forever. "Good you showed up! How's the beer for ya?"
Mathias had been in the middle of enjoying one of the beers he had brought with him from home when he felt a hard slap on his shoulder which almost made him spit out the mouthful of beer he had just taken.
His expression was annoyed when he turned to face whoever had slapped him, however when he saw it was the host his expression softened and he lifted the bottle in a greeting matter, “it’s great, though I don’t know about the one you’ve served.”He grinned as he returned the slap, making sure to slap the masked man a little harder than he had slapped him.

Mathias grinned widely as they came face to face once more and he lifted his arms in a defensive matter, though this action turned the grin into a smirk. “Easy Vash, this is a party and you are suppose to have a good time.” He took a step back, creating a bit of air between them as he did so, “besides...” he continued. “I’m sure Lily would have been fine even if you hadn’t joined her.”
The Swiss watched the party with a closed expression, creeping out by the walls to keep as much as possible out of contact. Lily had left for a bathroom, which meant he stood alone in this chaotic hell. His gaze moved and to his surprise he realized another stood close. Denmark? He was too talkative, wasn't he? Vash' eyes narrowed slightly as he turned away.
Mathias could already feel how the alcohol was running thought his veins, heating his body all while boosting his usual cheery mood too new heights. He was currently leaning against one of the walls so he could catch his breath and take a break from drinking.
It was then he saw a rare sight and a wide grin appeared on his lips as he approached Switzerland and he grabbed his shoulder before he could slip away, “hey Vash, I didn’t think I would see you to such a party…”

Mathias looked down and he scratched the back of his head. He and Berwald had planned to spend Christmas together, but their plans had been ruined when Mathias had been ordered to work. He looked back up at the slightly taller man and he flashed a crooked smile before taking a large sip from the bottle.
“I’m sorry about no spending it with you... I hope I can make it up to you next year?”
Berwald glares at Mathias and then sighs. He knew that he would be asked that, even though he rather not be asked as he don’t know how to answer that properly. “W’ll it wus calma’ th'n expect’d…”*
*(Well it was calmer than expected…)

Mathias expression stiffened when his beer was insulted and he was about to reply with a equally insulting reply when he spotted Gilbert in the distance and his expression softened.
“I hope you one day choke in my beer and the next time you choose to insult German beer, then make sure Gilbert hears you.” Mathias couldn’t help but grin and he gently patted his brother on his back, “so did you have a pleasant Christmas, even if you had to spent it without me?”
“Sam’, earlia’…”¹ He puts the bottle in the trash after emptying it.
“If ah can drink y’ur kind, ah can drink this.”² And in an act of pure defiance he downs it in one chug. They often make fun of each other’s food and beer, and each other, so he kinda expect to get a counter-attack on that.
¹(Same, earlier…) ²(If I can drink your kind, I can drink this.)

How must people be for you to have sex with them?
They should be willing and not so drunk that they won’t remember if they said yes or no.
And it’s not like I have a preferred type, except the fact that they have to be female. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t give men a change, it’s just rarely I find what I’m looking for.

She had been visiting with her embassy all day talking long conversation with important information people trying to get her attention. She was filled up with politics, and was now walking the streets of Copenhagen shopping windows from the now close stores. Getting her head clean from all the stress of the day. The first thing she needed to find was a place to sleep and between looking at windows she was looking for a hotel.
Mathias was hurrying down the main shopping street, he had just been told that he would have to travel overseas for a important meeting and that he wouldn’t he home until the day before Christmas. This meant he would have to buy all of his presents today before his plane left a few days later.
He was staying close to the building so he wouldn’t have to zic zag thought the crowd of Christmas shoppers, but his head must have been high up in the clouds because he suddenly felt himself bumping into someone and he came crushing back to reality when he dragged the person down onto the street.
“I’m so sorry...” he started as he tried to get a visual on the person he had stumbled into. “Laura?...” he then asked confused when he saw the familiar face.

“Earlier” he replied, still flashing his wide smile as he hoped Berwald would accept the open invitation to give him a hug, however he was completely ignored and he quickly took his arms down so he would end up looking like an idiot.
“So how about you, when did you come” he asked, turning to look at the beer Berwald was pouring into his glass.
“are you really going to drink that?” he asked in disbelief.
Berwald didn’t know that Mathias would be there either, but that didn’t mean that he would follow the Dane’s way and be loud about it.
“Ah… yea’, ah didn’t kno’ y’u w’uld be her’ eitha’. Wh’n did y’u get her’?”¹
He wasn’t sure why Mathias held out his arms like that though, was he going to hug him or something like that? Or was it just a weird way of greeting or what.
Berwald gets another of the German brand beers then and fills up his glass again.
¹(Ah… yeah, I didn’t know you would be here either. When did you get here?)

The flight had been pleasant now that he could spend it together with Patrick which gave them a change to talk about whatever came to their mind and they ended up having a great time.
They checked in at the hotel and Mathias unpacked a few things before he took a quick shower, redress and fixed his hair before he traveled the last bit of way to the party together with Patrick.
He looked around and he quickly spotted the host, the guests who had already arrived and the table where drinks and food were already served, “yes, it would be nice.” He looked down at Patrick and he flashed him a smile.
New Years
Even though it hadn’t taken a lot of persuasion, Patrick had still agreed to go to the New Years Party at Turkey’s place. The good thing about it though was that he hadn’t taken the trip alone. No the normally boring plane ride had been much entertaining, having a certain Dane by his side the whole time. He probably wouldn’t have gone if he hadn’t asked him.
Once haven gotten rid of the luggage, they had soon reached the party. Patrick wasn’t much for parties and he wasn’t much for drinking either, though there he was, next to the Dane.
“I’ll go get something to drink, do you want something?” he asked, he could already feel a headache coming up so he needed something to drink, maybe that would help.
