Did anyone else know that orb weaver spiders are capable of being super considerate to their human neighbors? Neither did I, until I noticed that one of the orb weavers in my yard is building her web in such a way that the main part is above our heads and the supportive strands are done in such a way that we won’t walk through them.

So I’m thinking there might not be enough goat stories in the world. And I just kind of have to tell you all what happened regarding one of my editor’s goats.  Apparently, she got out, freed the beagle, and the two of them went traipsing merrily about. My editor found them on a neighbor’s farm. The beagle looked all excited.  The goat somehow managed to look guilty and and look like she was blaming the beagle.
