I’m convinced that the Master builds 80% of his evil plans around whatever song is stuck in his head at the time of his invasion. I mean, the whole Rasputin thing? There was literally no reason for it, my man just wanted to cosplay and dance in front of the Doctor before cosplaying as the Doctor, and personally I support his dreams. The whole spy plan from the start of Modern Season 12 was probably caused by a binge-watch of spy movies.

The Master chases the Doctor around all of time and space, being awful, ruining things, killing people, attempting to murder the Doctor pretty much every chance they get, only to act like a kicked puppy whenever the Doctor is finally legitimately fed up with/distrustful of them

Kinda adore the fact that any time the Master comes back to Doctor Who the Doctor basically pauses the story and tells their companions "sorry, gotta deal with some psychosexual romantic drama with my on-and-off-again genderfluid homicidal ex/narrative foil that WILL traumatize you (and your family/boyfriend/loved ones) for the rest of your lives" all the while the companions are literally just the Live Slug meme
