he hates parties , he hasn’t changed his mind about THAT. too loud , too many bodies bumping against him. yet he’s still managing to enjoy himself .. probably the vodka _____  someone more familiar bumps his shoulder and he’s grinning in an instant , taking the offered drink. or maybe elliot’s vibe is just infectious. dark , not entirely sober hues catch elliot’s sparkling gaze and he’s grinning bigger , all teeth. ❛ i never had a brother ______ what do i do ? ❜ a laugh is just about held in.

elliot LAUGHS, head shaking. “i’ve never ‘ad a brother either. i dunno.” his shoulders shrug and he takes a sip of his drink. “my guess, is that we just KEEP DOIN’ what we’re doin’ y’ know?? seems ... well it seems to be workin’ out fine!!”

they always told him not to go into abandoned houses by himself, but he didn’t listen. he could almost hear the scolding already, but he had to ignore that for now. blinking a few times, he watched as what appeared to be a ghost go in and out of rooms. at hearing the voice, he jumped a little bit.’’–yeah.. i’m brilliant.’’ he offered a slight smile.

something seemed, off. he stood there AWKWARDLY, staring back at the other. he clears his throat as he shifts on his feet. “are you - well, do you live here??” the house was supposed to be abandoned. but he wouldn’t be surprised if the other had been checking out the place.

   → BILL HAD DECIDED TO CATCH DREW AS HE WAS LEAVING HIS BUILDING; a quick drop in, to see if he wanted to do anything today. Bill had finally begun to finish his papers & was feeling liberated: unfortunately, it seems to be the OPPOSITE case for his friend. He smiles weakly in response. He’s only a little disappointed, he’s more concerned than anything.

   A nod indicates that he understands- better than most people, probably. He reaches out & pats his shoulder carefully, feeling Drew’s tiredness sap into his bones at the contact: YEAH, HE UNDERSTANDS.

         – “ YEAH, NO BIG DEAL, MAN. C-CALL ME LATER, OR SOMETHING, OKAY? ” –

      MAYBE being alone wasn’t the best idea right now. he just didn’t feel up to being around people. but as bill reaches out and pats his shoulder he smiles a bit, eyes meeting his once more. he wasn’t used to having FRIENDS like bill. he clears his throat, shifting on his feet once more. 

       “well like - WHAT were you thinking of doing??” it’s not quite a YES yet. he’s more or less curious now. maybe DISTRACTION would be better.

( i am still sick and my throat hurts so bad. i think i have strep. i set up a doctor appointment for later this afternoon so hopefully i figure out what’s wrong with me ugh. )

SO. i have come to the conclusion that i am going to MOVE BLOGS. i just really need to freshen up my blog and there’s too much work to do. so starting over is going to be the best thing for me right now. i do want to keep some of my threads over here. i just need to drop A LOT OF THEM.

something SO IMPORTANT when it comes to THREADS BEING DROPPED!! if i decide to drop a thread with you, that does not mean that the relationship our characters have built is gone. i LIVE for literally all my characters relationships and ships. i just have lost a lot of motivation for my threads.

if you WANT to KEEP A THREAD with me, please like this post so i know you’re interested!! i’ll probably be coming to some of you guys to talk about it.
