Currently pondering a Beauty and the Beast Stucky AU where younger Bucky goes to a witch to wish for the ability to protect his best friend Steve, who is sickly and frail, but gets his wish used against him and turned into a large, werewolf-like monster. Horrid and ashamed of what he was forced into becoming, Bucky runs away into the forest and inhabits a long forgotten castle

Steve thinks Buck had simply abandoned him, and Years pass until Steve, seeking adventure, ventures into the forest and stumbles upon an abandoned castle. Venturing inside, he instead finds a towering clawed beast, furious at his trespassing and imprisons him within the Castle. Steve doesnt recognize Bucky, and Bucky doesnt recognize Steve as he's now muscular and tall, not like how he was when he last saw him. It would continue on after that but for sake of briefness I will stop there 🤔 Perhaps Bucky found other like-wise cursed individuals and had lent them shelter inside his castle and turned it into a sort of sancturary, the individuals being other Marvel characters (Sam, Natasha, etc)
