yippee have now finished rereading the first two of the wolves of the beyond books (i kinda forgot real books were a thing and have just been reading fanfic for the past month lol) i relate too much to faolan rn, like i'm 25 why is this children's book series just as relatable to me now as it was when i was 10

finally getting around to rereading the wolves of the beyond even though i grabbed the books from my parents house like a month ago and ohh my god, just faolan's deep intrinsic need to be part of a pack and feeling like something is missing from himself bc he doesn't have that, even before he had realized that he was different from thunderheart?? yeah that was desperately relatable to me when i was reading these books at like age 10 and is still so relatable at age 25, i was meant to be running with the wind and carefully tracking prey and howling songs in the darkness and being a cog in a well oiled machine

for whatever reason lately any time i have a cold chill i also have to snap my teeth together like im suddenly taking a dramatic bite of something, don't know what that's about but new stim i guess is big chomp

yippee!! going to visit my friend this weekend and we're gonna go to her family's farm on saturday and run around and frolic on their expansive property and it's gonna be so fun and also it's been raining finally the past few days so they've finally been able to get the fires under control which means i can go hiking next week and go be in the woods ^_^ yayyayayyy

yippee got some yarn at joann's (and heeded the siren song of 40% off fabric quarters, one of the ones i got has sharks on it :3) so starting on the hat portion (bc that's easier and i don't need to like legit find a pattern)
