CALL TO ARTISTS!!! This exhibit hopes to explore the following questions and more: If you feel your art provides a path to healing, how does it do it? Does your art counter the hateful rhetoric currently circulating, if so how? Does your artwork give voice to a resistance, yours and/or something larger? Does your artwork offer a creative vision as we find ourselves struggling under a possible fascist state?If you feel like your artwork doesn’t necessarily answer these questions, but still speaks to how you are navigating today’s social landscape, please feel free to submit.

Aquí Estamos y No Nos Vamos is a women of color art exhibit curated by Rebel Mariposa. We are looking for art of any and all media created by self-identified women of color. Art can range from traditional visual art to performance art to digital art. Applicants from other states or countries WILL BE considered and are welcome to apply. Artwork must have been created in the last 2 years, must be ready to hang and exhibited from March 25, 2017-May 26, 2017. Esperanza is not responsible for shipping charges or damages.
