Me, from 4 years old to 19 (now.)

Maybe I'll write some of my lore. Some, meaning my history with Kirby is far richer than what I'll write (Woah! Who cares.) I was introduced to Kirby when I was 4, when I first got a pink DS lite. My first game's Kirby Super Star Ultra. I've got too many memories with KSSU that I could create lots of comics and animations about it. I could also 100% The Great Cave Offensive from memory (I know a lot can as well.) Well, in kindergarten I'd always lose to Dedede in Gourmet Race. I also didn't know how to break the blocks in the first round so I waited for him to hammer them for me. I remember wanting to go home whilst thinking about Gourmet Race. I visited my grandma's house and my cousin played Revenge of Meta Knight. He completely misinterpreted the story (he didn't understand english) and made stuff up. He pointed at Meta Knight in the first cutscene and claimed he's Kirby's kidnapped friend and we're saving him. I've got lots more memories but I'll save it for another time.

Around 2nd grade, I discovered the anime whilst scrolling my blackberry phone for Meta Knight pictures in google (I used to have a crush on him) and found screenshots of him from the anime. I finished all episodes probably that same year or the next. I only remember being disappointed at not finding new episodes and would go back to see if I missed any (I didn't.) I watched all episodes in StarFumu's channel... I also remember the lyrics to the first Japanese opening and can still sing it to this day. The second opening... I played it loudly in the car of an important adult figure in 3rd grade.

Since kindergarten till 5th grade, I was always othered and bullied by the other kids. I remember in 3rd grade, my best friend at the time who I talked to about Kirby a lot, whom I made Kirby fan characters with, turned against me. I remember a specific moment where she and a classmate with a big bobcut hair asked me if I'll love Kirby forever. I said yes and they both facepalmed. I do not know why that's weird to them, perhaps it's because I spoke about Kirby a lot. But those two talked about My Little Pony so much too so what was really the problem? (Later on in 6th grade, I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism and maybe that could explain why I was always othered.)

Ah, 3rd grade was also the time I found out about Kirby gijinka. I liked the Meta Knight ones (as once again, I used to crush on him.) I remember drawing my own Meta Knight gijinka where he's a pretty long haired girl with a rockstar-ish outfit. I'd also redraw an art made by a pro Kirby gijinka artist in the hallway and got laughed at by my friend. About that friend... we bonded because he, too, knew about Kirby. His first and only game was Kirby Canvas Curse.

I made a Minecraft server at 4th grade and it lasted till my 5th grade. Nothing too memorable there, aside from me building Queen Sectonia's flowered form.

The adults in my life did not know what to do with me and it led me to fail a grade. So I started 5th grade again in a much more inclusive school. My friend at the time came over to my house and we both googled Kirby gijinka stuff together. Then! We stumbled upon a Marx gijinka made by a popular gikabi artist I'm sure most of us knew about. I didn't think much about Marx years before. I knew him as THE villain of my first Kirby game (yes there's a lot of other villains there but ugh.) So I asked myself, who's my favorite Kirby villain? Me being sentimental, I chose Marx. From there on, Meta Knight is pushed aside and Marx is on the pedestal. Woo. I still have the Marx artworks that 11-13 year old me drew. I also began shipping Marx with Magolor (nowadays I don't really care, I can like any ship as long as they're not problematic.) I've also converted some classmates into Kirby fans and they'd draw Marx on my drawing papers. Yay! Fun times. Ah, I also found out about Itoki Hana that same year! I listen to her covers and original songs to this day. Ah... remember Kirby gijinka? I also made some. LOTS of Marx's. I still have them but I'll save em for future "before vs after" stuff. I watched all of Kirby Orchestra and wanted to play Kirby Star Allies with my friends. But I never got the game or a Switch, my family couldn't afford either. To this day I still don't have a Switch. But yeah, you could imagine my excitement when Marx was announced for Star Allies.

Nothing too notable about middle school as I was fixated on musicals. In 9th grade however, I began drawing Kirby again and started with... you guess it... Marx. And then Kirby gijinka! And then account deletion. And then Kirby gijinka! And then deletion. And then just Kirby! And then gijinka! & then deletion! Now here I am. Why was it like that? I was an anxious and paranoid preteen-teenager. When I was drawing gijinkas in late middle school, a random guy DMed me and encouraged me to draw the characters normally because he liked my artworks where it's like that. I was too inconsiderate of my own worth.

Now... here I am. I think I'm a loser and I create my own burdens. I sure still like Kirby. There's lots I want to do with Kirby, I want to complete all Kirby games. It might take years because I can't afford certain consoles as of now. I still don't know the lore of Forgotten Land. Well, I also want to make artworks dedicated to each episode of the anime, as it meant a lot to me. And then an animation of Milky Way Wishes because 5th grade me wanted to do something like that... I also have too many memories with KSSU and I still play it to this day. I've yet to 100% it and plan to do so at my birthday. It's a lot but I did this to myself. Hope you like my art, I made lots. Sorry for grammatical errors. Thanks for reading all this if you did, I know it is a pain to read but I needed to get my memories and thoughts out.
