This is Swindon town centre on Saturday night. The town used to be busy. Now it鈥檚 a lonely place to live. There is no vibe.

Friday Is The Happiest Day For Workers!
On Fridays, the employees are happy for two counts. The majority of the workers get paid. And it is the last day for work. They are going home and they must wake up tomorrow for work. As someone told me today: it is a pub time. They are only happy when they are going home from work. And they are unhappy when coming to work. It shouldn't be this way!

English Mentally At Workplace!
He or she forms an ally at the workplace. In England, there are two groups in any workplace. They usually compete with one another either in private or in public.聽That is whether it is office based work or warehouse. The newcomers usually meet a member of one of the groups. He or she tries to be nice in order to recruit the new person. The new person will know the bad and the ugly ones at work within hours or days.聽 If a bad person meets you at first, you will think others are bad even when they are not. That is if you are not willing to listen/observe to the other side.聽 Advice When you are new to a workplace, the best practical advice is to listen and observe. Don't take one side. Don't let the first person, who welcomes you to work, influences you. Be polite and yet critical. Why do you think he or she is bad? Ask questions.聽

Workplace Mentality in the UK.
These nice people are unkind to each other because of the pressure they face on a daily basis. They operate, in many ways, the law of the jungle. Life goes to the strongest among them, thus, they spy on and gossip about each other to get closer to the management. They are reduced to their work. Work is too austere and brutal.
Notes of聽my new book on workers in England. The title will be confirmed soon, InshaAllah!
