I watched Fantastic Four last Saturday and forget to make a post about it, but I wanted to say that I really liked the movie and thought it was super cute.

My favorite parts were probably the Johnny and Ben scenes, the conversation between Reed and Sue after they came back from Space, Herbie, and how the civilians felt like real, empathic people.

I liked how all of the F4 were treated, and how they felt like an actual family. Reed and Sue’s relationship had a lot of good moments, Johnny was handled well for once, and this movie reminded me that I sorta have a crush on Ben Grimm. (he was really cute, lol)

The general setting for the film was also really good. It was interesting and refreshing to watch, and I liked all the set designs and costumes.

However, it does make me really scared on how badly the Russo brother’s are gonna mess them up in Avengers: Doomsday. Though I think if I see Spidey interact with the F4, most will be forgiven.

If I had to give some criticism, I would say that I agree with the people who say this movie should have had a little extra time to it. The third act did feel somewhat rushed, and I would have liked to see a bit more of the Silver Surfer. However, overall I really liked it and there was nothing that made me not want to see it again.

in a comic book movie that's very comic booky, some might argue the most comic booky comic book movie of them all, i'd say the most comic booky line in all of superman is when lex threatens him by saying "i think i'll kill clark kent next" without knowing his secret identity. that line is straight out of the cartoons, i can easily hear clancy brown's lex say that
