“I hate this game.” Ryder sighed as he leaned back in his chair and watched as Ro spun a gimmel, her third one of the game. He didn’t truly mean what he said; dreidel was a game he loved since he was a young boy despite its simplicity. He took the dreidel from the middle once Ro collected all of her gelt and spun, the wooden top twirling around until it landed on gimmel again.
“Of course I get it now when there’s nothing left,” he laughed and threw a piece in so the pot wouldn’t remain empty. “Your turn.”
