Notes: This is my first fic, so I hope people like it.

A winter storm has rolled in, making you eager to run your errands.

Your phone chirped out a notification.

‘Are you going to get food?- E’

You peered out the window at the snow covered ground. A surprising amount of snow and ice had caught the city by surprise causing it to be shut down. But your boyfriends had been called in to help cover the storm. The wicked never took a day off in the city. Yet, the small shop you got food from also seemed to operate under the idea of always being open.

‘Yes. You are both working late, so I’m making something special tonight~’

‘CHOCOLATE TOTS?!’ … ‘Please no…? –E’

‘lol. How about actual homemade hot chocolate instead?’

‘ WE LIKE THIS. >:3 THANK YOU PRETTY’ … ‘[Y/N] Did you teach V how to use emotes? Really? – E’

‘Uh.. Ooooh man. Look at the time. I better get going before another wave of the storm hits. LoveyoutwoBye.’

You laughed as the screen swarmed with emotes from your alien boyfriend then loosely wrapped a red scarf around your neck. It had been a gift from Eddie after the first snow fall this year and you had loved it. It was a bit long on you, but you refused to loop it tighter as you claimed you liked how it fluttered in the wind.

After clicking the lock shut, you were bouncing down the stairs to the ground floor. Treating your two boys usually also got you quite the treat afterwards yourself, so it was easy to get excited. Humming a soft tune to yourself as you began to walk down the street to the shop. You figured now would be an all right time to cut through the ally. Better to take the shortcut when it was still light out after all.

When you were half way down the alley, the wind gave a harsh blast right in your face and ripped your scarf right off of your neck. “No!” You yelped as you rushed after it. After a desperate hop, you managed to snag the scarf. Your haste to save your precious gift made a patch of ice made it invisible to your eye. You did find it when to landed. Arms pin wheeling and failing to correct your balance, you were falling.

Eating it face first onto the patch of ice, your forehead met the ice with a solid smack. The shock had your fist around the scarf lock up while a groan fell from your lips. Hadn’t it been lighter out than before? Well, a little rest would make things a bit clearer.

Eddie was racing to get home to his lovely kitten, [Y/N]. He was feeding off of Venom’s energy as well while rushing down the somewhat slick sidewalk. Due to the symbiote helping with traction, the lack of salt was no problem for the hasty walk.

‘I’m excited too, Eddster. Hot chocolate and cuddles’ Venom purred in Eddie’s head. ‘Text to let [Y/N] know we are coming’

“Hm? Oh yeah. Good idea, V.” He was hoping that the heads up would have his favorite sweater and slippers already set up for him. ‘Hey baby! Almost at the front door~ - E’

‘Outside?’ Venom’s questioning thought got Eddie to pause.

“What do you mean ‘outside’?” Eddie could feel a slight bubbling of dread start to form as he looked around. Was [Y/N] running late? He glanced down the alleyway. Oh; [Y/N]’s red scarf. His gaze continued for a moment before Venom snarled at him to move to what might be your corpse.

“Baby?!” Eddie frantically called as he sprinted to get to your limp form. The once flighty scarf was also flopped down on the ground like a trail of semi frozen blood. Both Eddie and Venom had never been so terrified to see that color splattered on the ground. “Oh [Y/N],” Eddie whimpered as he set a hand on your back and Venom extended down his arm to try to get a read on you.

‘Cold. Head trauma. Need to get inside’ Venom chimed in before he reached out a few tendrils to gently turn you over.

“Watch the head! You can’t let [Y/N]’s head roll. It might cause more damage,” Eddie warned as you were turned over with the utmost care. Both of them cringed when they saw the angry red mark on your forehead.

‘Get inside and call Dan.’ Venom ordered as the tendrils wrapped around you into a make shift neck brace to keep you stable.

“What? Oh.. O-kay,” Eddie muttered as he snapped out of his panicked state to scoop you up. Murmuring a few words of comfort as you tried to snuggle closer to him. “Shhh… We got you baby.”

Freezing and disoriented, your eyes cracked open to try to get a read at what was going on while Venom wrapped himself around you like a make shift blanket. “E-Eddie?” You slurred as you tucked your hands into the ‘blanket’. Your teeth were chattering now as a gust of wind tried to bluster past the shield Venom provided. “S’cold.”

“I know, [Y/N]. That’s why we’re going to go get inside, but you have to keep still, okay?” Eddie purred as he nudged the door to the complex open with his foot. “You’re going to get tucked into bed and rest up and- what’s wrong?”

Tears had welled up in your eyes as you pressed closer to Eddie. “I didn’t get you two coco,” you sobbed as Venom kindly pressed the elevator’s buttons to get everyone to the right floor.

“WE WILL SURVIVE WITHOUT IT, SWEETNESS. BUT WE CANNOT WITHOUT YOU,” Venom replied as he held you a bit tighter. “WHEN WE SAW YOU LYING ON THE GROUND, WE THOUGHT THE VERY WORST. YOU ARE SAFE NOW, SO PLEASE DON’T CRY.” You leaned into his touch as he brushed away tears from your face.

“M’Sorry,” you mumbled as you tightened your grip on the symbiote while the elevator rumbled on up the shaft. “I didn’t mean to.”

“We know.” Eddie stepped out when the doors dinged open on their floor. “Now how about a nice lay down under the covers? I think we’d all like that.”

After a quick walk down the hall plus some symbiote helping out with the door had everyone stepping into the warm apartment. “V? An assist, if you please.” A few tendrils reached out to help with shoes and jackets as Eddie continued onwards to the bedroom. “You okay lying down in this or you want some jammies?”

You shivered at the thought of losing more warmth while you tucked yourself a bit tighter against Eddie. But, your outside clothes weren’t exactly bed friendly. “Jammies,” you echoed as you were gently set down on the bed. Venom was reluctant to completely let go of you as Eddie helped you into your comfiest pj’s that you had. It might have been due to the fact you looked like you’d topple over the second someone stopped trying to correct your swaying balance.

Eddie continued to fuss over you for a few more moments. Venom all too happily gave him a hard poke in the head to yank him back into reality. “Right. How about we get you under the covers, yeah?”

The two of them ushered you onto the bed and did their best to get you as snug as a bug in a rug. Extra blankets were thrown down on top of you while the thermostat was bumped up a few more degrees higher. “All right. How’s that?” Eddie fussed over you for a few more moments as the heat kicked on. You sighed as the warmth was starting to seep in under the covers which was causing you to get a bit on the drowsy side.

“Mmm… S’nice,” was your reply as you snuggled a bit deeper under the covers and wiggled your toes.

“Okay. If you’re okay there for a few minutes, I’m going to see what’s on the menu tonight, all right? You want the tv on?”

“Kay. Ooooh. Ocean nature show?” You had liked that genera before meeting your two boys, but Venom had fanned it into a hard love.

Eddie clicked on the appliance with a smile while queuing up a random episode in the ocean series.

“WHY DON’T YOU WATCH THIS ONE AND TELL ME IF YOU LIKE SOMETHING NEW, SWEETNESS?” Venom was hoping the easy task would keep you focused enough to keep you awake.

“Okay.” You chirped back and put your attention on the show before the other two slipped from the room. After half closing the bedroom door, Eddie breathed a sigh of relief for the moment. You were awake and responsive, two things that were important to check after a concussion.

“All right. Time to make a phone call.” Eddie picked up his cell phone and began to flip through his contacts. After finding the one he wanted, he started the call. “Hey, uh, Dan. Look, I know the storm’s bad but is there any way you can get to my place please? [Y/N] might be in trouble.”
